Small Shop, Big Flavor, Exceptional Espresso: I highly recommend trying their double shot espresso. It's a true game-changer for coffee enthusiasts. The quality of caffeine is top-notch – it gives you this pleasant head-tingle, a clear sign of its superiority.

Outstanding Service with a Smile: The service at Caffe Umbria is as impressive as their coffee. The staff are not only friendly but also efficient, providing a smooth and swift experience without compromising on warmth and personal touch.

Delicious Pastries Perfect for Pairing: Do yourself a favor and try their pastries. They complement the coffee beautifully, making for a delightful pairing. Whether you're into sweet or savory, there's something for every palate.

A New Favorite Spot: Caffe Umbria has quickly become a must-visit spot for me in this area. It's the kind of place that turns first-time visitors into regulars. The combination of great coffee, fantastic service, and a cozy atmosphere is hard to beat. If you find yourself in the vicinity of Caffe Umbria, don't miss out on the opportunity to stop by. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a pleasant spot to relax, this café will undoubtedly exceed your...

Sometime ago, I had a year plus consulting gig in Seattle, land of a coffee chain that I do not care for ... so I just had to find a unique coffee shop that I could frequent each morning before I went to work. I was fortunate to find a caffe along Olive Way, which I found very appealing as it was very Italian in ambiance, service, coffee and food selection. (I am an Italophile!) Each time I returned to Seattle, this became my go-to caffe and on Saturday mornings, I got to know a few locals including the owner, Mario. In the last several years, it changed hands and is now one of the Caffe Umbria locations, but still managed by him, with the same outstanding coffee, pastry selections, and service. I recently visited and was pleasantly surprised to meet Mario’s daughter, Marta, working side by side with him … something unexpected, yet special, surely. If you are ever in downtown Seattle, check this place out and experience a little...

This place is busy in the morning, so if you show up around nine, be prepared to queue up. However, the staff and apparent owner (an affable gent, clearly and proudly of Italian decent) move the line along with a quick ease. I ordered my 12oz americano and ham-and-cheese croissant "for here," because I knew I'd be writing a review - this place just strikes one that way, the kinda place you want to share with others. Not that they need any promotion, judging from the steady flow of patrons.

Minutes later, I collected my Americano in a beautiful hand painted mug with the name of the place tastefully emblazoned and took a seat at a beautifully hand-painted table near the window. Shortly thereafter, the aforementioned Italian gent delivered my croissant - split long-wise and beautifully toasted in the panini press. Both were were thoughtfully prepared and both were delicious. Certainly worth my...

I’ve been here SO many times over the summer when I take day trips up to Seattle. I came for the first time in Summer 2022 and returned the next summer in 2023, during a high school art program at Cornish nearby. The man who made my coffee the year before remembered the order I had every day the summer before. He is amazing! Wish I knew his name. I came back again in the fall and he still knew my order, then again that summer and then the following fall. I can’t rave about this place enough. I always get a lavender latte with almond milk and every time it has been incredible. I was just back about a month ago and I will be back whenever I’m in Seattle, even if it’s far out of my way.
