Great place to rent from! They provided helmets, goggles, paper maps, suggestions, water, cooler, everything we needed to have a great day & they were flexible when we wanted 6 hours instead of the full or half day, which we appreciated! Also a little informational video in the beginning which was great if you’re not familiar with the vehicles.
After renting, I would say depending upon your experience and what you’re looking for here is my honest opinion! -the machines are all capped at a specific speed (33-35mph). So if you’re wanting to upgrade to the Pro-R, be prepared that it goes the same speed as the XP1000. Although the upgraded suspension of the Pro-R would have been nice, I personally am happy we didn’t pay the extra money for that. -with the above mentioned, we didn’t need to go faster than 35mph except maybe on some of the main roads (but you don’t spend a lot of time there, unless you want to) -other companies we met on the trails had tablets which would have been nice for navigation purposes, but we did fine with the paper map (You’d definitely want a co-pilot in this case). -they warned us we wouldn’t have time to do all the trails + hiking they suggested (devils bridge, the castle ruins, and a couple off-road trails) and ended up rushing through. Which led us to having an extra 2 hours, But since we didn’t have any other trail suggestions we ran through a couple of them twice (it was beautiful and very scenic, no complaints there). -Also timing depends on the amount of time spent on devils bridge. With the popularity, we waited in line to get pictures for 30ish min, so definitely take that into...
Read moreAfter doing 4 hikes we decided we didn't feel like walking anymore. We stopped by Sedona ATV to rent one of the ATVs. At first we thought it was expensive but these machines are not cheap so it was whatever. They did have a $3,000 insurance hold on my credit card (that was released back on my card within 24 hours). The reviews here can scare you as most people that write the negative ones end up paying thousands of dollars. I don't know anyone who wants to throw money away. Now this rental is for pure enjoyment and a great way to see Sedona from a vehicle. If you are looking for a thrill you need to buy your own. We at points hit 70mph on the road, 40 mph on the gravel rock straight aways and usually 5-15mph on the track. I never felt this thing would tip or break in anyway by keeping it safe. If you are not comfortable with this stuff you should not rent these. If you crash this thing you should not be complaining about paying for it. You should be paying for damages and loss of sales. I rent out RVs so I know how these guys feel if you treat it with disrespect. We had such a great time. The staff was hilarious and super helpful. If I don't buy one soon I'd Def rent again from these guys when I visit Sedona next and I encourage you to as well if you want to have a little fun. Always wear your seat belt and helmet.... (not like us - we understand our risks and would not blame anyone else). 🌵 ☀ YOU WILL GET VERY DIRTY NO MATTER WHAT...
Read moreCome here if you want to be royally screwed over. This place is great at false advertising and empty promises. On the website the model I selected said it could reach top speeds of 80mph but I soon realized the ATV was governed at just 35mph. Come here if you want to ride flat trails and for 40 percent of the trail was paved. My girlfriend and I spent 500$ for 4 hours we got back 50 minutes early because the trail was that short. The trail itself has a speed limit of 15mph which led us to constantly having to stop or slow down. Upon arriving back to the ATV rental site we were told that our ATV was deemed to dirty even though they had a car wash on site we were told to drive the ATV up the street and pay for a car wash and manually wash the ATV with our own money after we spent 500$. No where on the website or even calling did they disclose what the trials looked like or what they initialed. Also not mentioned until after payment was that 1 of the 4 hours was a hike on foot where you have to pay to park the ATV. The main factor that led to me and my girlfriend choosing this specific rental cite was that we could rent an ATV at 18 years of age instead of the other rental locations requiring 21 and up. I could not in good faith recommend this ATV rental company to anyone looking for...
