We rented a 1000 rzr and a pro rzr. Tip! Save yourself time at checkin to gain a few extra minutes of ride time by filling out the waivers and watching the safety video BEFORE you go. The group in front of use got started later than we did bc we were prepared.
I wore a bandana to eat less dirt, but if you enjoy the grit in your teeth, you can forego that!. We used their goggles on top of our glasses and I had NO problems seeing or getting dort in my eyes. Again, personal preference, but they are included in the cost.
Be sure the cooler they provide is strapped down tightly! We found one along sode the trail and grabbed it to bring back with us. They provide plenty of water. Drink it!
Sunscreen up! Even though you will have a layer of dust (amd possibly mud) on you, you will get lots of sun while out adventuring.
Pay attention to the difficultymarkings of the trails. I drove the outlaw rail and it was definitely easier than the first one we did. The hike to the ruins was pretty and a nice way to get some actual steps in during the day. Your smartwatch will think you have run a marathon, or at least a 5k, so if you want a cheat day on your steps, this is a fun way to get them! ;)
We did 2 loops and took one hike and a couple of very brief stops. It was GO GO GO for 4 hours! Worth the money! Those are some solid vehicles!! As comfortable as you would expect from an off reader. Super fun for both driver and passenger.
We opted to explore this way rather than do a guided jeep tour. It is not for the faint of heart, but this fluffy fifty-something year old...

But it’s how it was handled that rubbed me the wrong way. About an hour and a half in we broke down. I called and they sent someone to get us. It took two hours for them to get to us. I got two different reasons why it took so long. ( We paid for a four hour experience)
Again, ok it happens. I understand the terrain and location causes delays. But when we finally got back, they tried to charge me for the full trip. When I objected, I was told there was nothing they could do as they don’t offer monetary reimbursement. I pressed the issue and she gave me 20% back. I didn’t feel that was acceptable. I asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to him and he said there was nothing he could do and that he would advocate to his boss to see if he could do better.
But after a couple minutes, the original lady came to my car and told me they could reimburse 50%. I was completely happy with that. They were all very courteous and friendly about everything but I just wish I wouldn’t have had to press the issue.
I’m not an unreasonable person. I understand that problems happen. But I didn’t particularly enjoy having to do that dance. I’ve used this place before and was really happy.
All that being said, it’s an absolutely awesome experience and I highly recommend this activity. It’s a bit pricey but...

Yesterday I took one of their ATVs out in Sedona—through the Red Rocks, the trails, the puddles (oh yes, the puddles)—and I didn’t just ride that thing, I tamed the wild. At first, I was lowkey terrified to bring the ATV back looking like it had survived a natural disaster. I’m talking full-on mud explosion. The thing was caked. I was caked. There was mud in places mud should never be.
I rolled in bracing for a cleaning fee… but nope. The crew took one look, smiled, and said something like, “Whoa, looks like you had a blast!” I wanted to hug them right then and there.
This experience? 11/10. The trails were stunning, the views were unreal, and the freedom to just rip through Sedona like a kid on sugar was priceless. And that splash? That glorious, slow-motion sploosh through a muddy puddle? Cinematic. I felt like an action hero. Or a mud-soaked rockstar. Probably both.
Check out the photo of me post-ride—I look like I lost a wrestling match with the Earth and couldn’t be happier about it.
Pro tip: If you’re not returning your ATV with a wild grin and half of Sedona’s mud stuck to your clothes, did you even do it right?
Huge thanks to the team for making this the adventure of a lifetime. I’ll be back. And next time… I’m...
