GO TO A DIFFERENT MOUNTAIN COASTER - THERE ARE SEVERAL NEARBY. The average ride for the Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster was stated as 8-10 minutes with the variability due to the fact that you can control your speed. First issue: Ride time. The ride is only 6 minutes. (We let the kids go twice, as it was slightly discounted the second time.) I thought I may have messed up the timing the first time, but both were 6 minutes. And note, the kids were not even going full speed (it was impossible for the first ride anyway because there were some very slow people in front of them). Second Issue: Credit card fees. The first time we paid they didn't mention anything about a fee, and we didn't pay any attention to the total. The second time I thought it sounded expensive so we asked for a cost breakdown and learned there was a 3.5% if you use a credit card. I told them the it needs to posted or stated! They closed the window and showed me a tiny sticker at the bottom stating there is a fee - this sticker is IMPOSSIBLE to see when you are standing at the counter paying. Third Issue: Rude employees and no desire to make customers happy. The girl at the window was very rude when I pointed out the that the fee needs to be clearly stated. I then spoke to a manager, who was polite, but basically said the ride was 6 minutes because my kids went fast (again, 8 minutes was the minimum time stated which would be at full speed) and that there was nothing they could do about the fee. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. We learned there are many other mountain coasters in the area; we highly recommend going...
Read moreI’m from Chicago, Illinois and this past week was my first time to Tennessee ever and when i tell you the folks that were working the night of 7/25, were some of the nicest people i’ve ever come across.
Right off bat, the lady that helped us get our tickets: She was a pretty woman with blond hair and it was in like a messy bun, i think? I wanna say her name was Taylor. She had the prettiest accent and she was just so sweet and helpful! THANK YOU.
There was a young man with about almost shoulder length brown hair and he was the one stating the directions before you were launched. It was almost closing time, so him looking tired was expected but that didn’t stop him from being incredibly nice to me and my family. His catch phrase at the end was “Have a blessed night”. That touched me and i said “Thank you! God bless” and he responded “Thank you, i really needed that”. You, sir, deserve everything great in life!
and to end it off, there was a gentleman with hair down his back and he had it in a ponytail, I wanna say he had a plaid shirt and a cowboy hat on. He was the one that stopped the cart at the end of the ride. He asked if we liked the ride, asked where we were from and then made a joke about Gary, Indiana haha!!
10/10 experience simply because of the amazing folk that work there! Thank you for giving this city girl a piece of that southern...
Read moreWe bought tickets the day before and we were scheduled for 10:00 a.m.. when we arrived at 9:40, as advised, and a window agent opened her window for 5 seconds to tell us that the ticket obviously didn't open until 10:00 a.m.. at 10:00 a.m. we were told that the ride was down for maintenance, and we were told that it would reopen in about 1 to 2 hours. The cashier could have told us the ride was down for maintenance when we first arrived, but instead she wasted 20 minutes of our time. We came back at 1:00 p.m. and it was still down and the time was revised to 3:00 p.m.. By now we were getting ready to leave the area and would not be back. They would not give us a full refund and they wanted to give us a credit for a future visit. That doesn't work since we're not going to be in the area again. We never did not get to go on the ride but I would certainly advise never buying tickets in advance...
