I love this hotel!! Have stayed here numerous times and every time have been met with outstanding hospitality and customer service. The rooms are clean and have all you could want for. Location is great, right next to Longhorn and other restaurants. Across the street from outlet mall, mini golf and skycoaster and sky lift. I love the history of it too. Has a nice outdoor area and pool with a slide. I haven’t used the slide for fear of getting stuck but kids seem to love it. For the money you can’t beat it!! Thank you The Lodge at Five Oaks, a loyal customer here! I’ll be back! Oh and did I mention the hand written note from housekeeping… too notch!

Edit to my previous review. This is not a "Lodge" its a really outdated, campy version of a comfort inn. The "mountain views" are some tree tops that are faintly visible on a clear day over the surrounding buildings and roller coasters. If youre thinking relax by a roaring fire with a drink (theres no restaurant or bar on site), people watch, and then enjoy a nice neal. Go somewhere else. This is on the main strip, Google Earth it. The beds are hella uncomfortable. You can feel the springs in the mattresses. The furniture looks like those really cheap campy pieces from Harriet Carter. The rooms have terribly thin walls.

Nice clean place to stay. Within walking distance to many things to do and see. A short drive and you can see everything the area has to offer. Plenty of close by restaurants to walk to across the road from Tanger Outlets and Black Riffle Coffee Company a 5 minute walk. All of the staff have been friendly and helpful with any questions or need we had. The pool and pool area are clean and appear well maintained. The lounging area surrounding 2 large gas fire pits is a nice place to set in the evening with family or speak with different travelers. I would recommend this place to any coming to the area to give it a try.

We are here for STP youth Ministry conference with Scott Dawson. I over hear (Bobby the bald man at front desk) talking to a lady as we are having our nightly devotion, that they all call this week HELL week. A week that is set towards youth learning and studying God. Twice a year this event is held here in pigeon forge, Dec and Jan. Bringing lots of people/ children and money,, HELL week!!! I ask him could I have the managers number and he proceeded to try and raise his voice at me and he would not give me anyones number. We are here for STP youth Ministry conference. Granted there are 6 youth groups from all over staying here this week along with lots of hotels, with thousands of children/ youth leader, paying good money to stay here. Bobby was unbelievably RUDE. I informed him that he would never receive any money from our church youth ever again and I’d be sure that everyone at Stand to Praise would be getting an email along with talking to his managers. He informed me that he didn’t care. This is our youth (7th/12th graders) they are our future!! Learning about God and worshiping and for him to refer to this as HELL week… that does not sit well with me. Christian or not we paid just like everyone else and for Bobby to be so nasty towards us and speak of children the way he did is totally inexcusable. I urge anyone coming for any conference or yet anything in this area to avoid this place. I for one will let everyone that I speak with to never stay at this place. Very...

We needed a place to stay as we were in town for just a night for a family event. The Lodge at Five Oaks was a great option for our needs. It is on a busy highway, but you can't hear the road noise in the room due to some sort of machine that runs in the background. I chose a room without a balcony. It looked out over the pool area. The balcony rooms on the other side look at a steak house, so keep that in mind. The hotel is directly across from the Tanger Outlets which are very busy during the day. I'd say that the hotel is convenient for travel but certainly not a haven for relaxation. The pool has a super slide which could be great fun for kids. The nearby restaurants seem to have a limited menu. We wanted to order a sandwich, and our only option was to go across the street to Subway, which isn't exactly a treat when one is vacation. The hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. There was lemonade and packaged cookies for our enjoyment in the afternoon. Breakfast had a lot of options: cereal, sausage sandwiches, make your own pancakes, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. Certainly enough for a start to the day. Parking is on the premises and there is plenty of it. I'd say this hotel is great for sleeping, but would not be considered to be on a "resort" level. It is nestled in a hub of activity. But you certainly could not beat the price for the quality...

We had ants everywhere. We were in room 210. We checked in late. I saw a few ants on the floor. Didn’t think much of it. But woke up to an infestation of ants all over our stuff. On our bags. On the table, chairs, tv, AC. It was so nasty. Obviously they were their all night we just didn’t realize: it took me a long time cleaning our bags out to get ride of the ants. I killed so many. I searched before posting this and have seen others complaining as far as a year back. 2 doors down from our room. And we also let multiple people know about the ants. None of them acted surprised or like they cared. My husband tried to call down to the front desk in the morning and no one answered. He called a bunch of times. I waited by the desk along with others. No one was anywhere to be found. Funny thing as soon as breakfast was over the lady running breakfast was running the desk. So they are obviously having staffing issues. Also the pool was nasty inside and outside. The hotel needs cleaned better. I’m shocked at all the good review for this place. It’s really sad. We stayed here 2 years ago and the hotel was so beautiful and clean. It felt so cozy and just awesome. This time it felt dirty and gross. They definitely try to make it seem clean. The. Decor is awesome bed is comfortable. But they need to clean clean clean clean clean everywhere. Also get rid...
