I would not recommend anybody coming to the shop!!!! They think they can just give you your money back to push you out the door when they do not fix things, right, I. Say this because the whole 3 days. I was there. There's been multiple people in there where they just gave it a refund and tried to push them away like they did myself, Little, did you know the manager tried to come up with every little? Excuse not knowing that I worked on cars on the side. I just didn't have the equipment to do alignment...... First, we had an appointment set up at 4 o'clock,They told us an hour and a 1/2. We understand that it gets a little busy. They told us not to bring any other vehicle or get dropped off, so here comes 6 o'clock rolling around sitting here. They finally get it in the tech that they had working on. It had an attitude because he had to do it before they closed at 7. After he was finished, he came in there through the keys down and the paperwork, We continued and got our vehicle. Drove it down the road. Mind you. This was after the shop was closed and the steering wheel was the whole other way, so they told us to bring it in, and the same tech got mad because he had to do it again. He didn't even try to align it or fix it. He took it back there set for a minute and brong it back, I went up to check out. He tried to blame it on the staring. Gear box, Now mind you. It never had a problem before. I took it in there for alignment, only reason I needed alignment because I changed the tie rods , Again, they tried to push me out the door and blow it off. The guy says well since you're not happy.""" Let me get a manager, THE MANAGER comes out at first hot-headed. Cause he thought he was talking to a girl. Which was my girlfriend that originally took it. He saw me. I told him that I was a mechanic. And he said you're exactly right. They're not gonna try to blame it on this. They should have said that when they did alignment. Hold on a minute. I'll have him take it back there. I said, "Well, we have to go." Is there somebody else who can work on it? He said yes, bring it in tomorrow, and we will get it fixed, so tomorrow comes and the other manager test. Drove the truck knew there was something wrong. Took it back to the alignment shop, which was full, and told them to fix it, then parked it on the side 3 hours later after telling us 15 minutes. It will be on the rack. I come up asking about it again. The manager thanks OK, let's just push these guys out. He came up with an excuse, saying, "When you wiggle the steering wheel, the tires don't move, which the key is not in the vehicle, and the steering wheel is locked." Of course, the stairwell is not gonnajust e. He said it should've been aligned in the first place. I'll just give you money back. I informed him There was no problem with the stairwell being tilted before, He continued to try to blow me off I told him I was not happy with a refund because we have nine hours plus sitting around for something that should have been an hour and a half......... When they first did it, my girlfriend got paperwork. They did not give her the diagram in the picture of it being aligned , so I asked for it, and it was not even all the way right.... So I dropped it off at 7:30 in the morning. They told me. I would not have to wait because i've been there three days with this, He test drove it and made us sit there for 3 to 4 hours To just come and tell us he will give us our money back. Why did he not tell us that when we brought in there at seven thirty in the morning , not to mention there was a lady behind me. That was having the same problem, and they were doing the same thing to her..... I would not under any circumstance. Let these guys even work on my bicycle!!!!    Read moreOne of the best repair shops I have ever been to. I had an unexpected trip to Florida and needed to have my car checked out to ensure a stress free traveling experience. They checked the car for any issues with the engine, belts, hoses, brakes and tires. They immediately found that I was leaking oil from my valve cover gaskets and the water pump was leaking as well. I have noticed that there was fluid on my driveway as I pulled out for several months, but assumed it was from my A/C. I never noticed the oil situation at all. These repairs were needed prior to the trip to Florida, so I had them repaired. It was an expensive process but was needed and was going to take approximately 10 hours to complete. It is my only car so I needed to wait there for the repairs to be completed. During the wait time I got to see how they interacted with all types of customers and situations. I was amazed with the patience, understanding and honesty of the front desk staff. Multiple times I witnessed customers coming in to get a repair or a service they were told that was needed by another mechanic, only to find out that the service was not needed. The only issue I saw was not from them, but from the customers that came in for the services. This Firestone location is extremely busy and is located in one of the most visited national parks in the US. They were very impatient and some were downright mean, I guess this is the new America, so entitled. However, the staff handled these incidents with the best customer care I have seen in a very long time. My trip was successful and my stress level was diminished greatly due to them. A couple of months later I needed an oil change and tire rotation, so I made an appointment and went there for this. They were running behind but they were honest and let me know right off, in case I had other obligations for the day. Once again, I witnessed great customer care during my wait time. It took about an 1.5 to 2 hours to complete, when I went to pay I was told it was on them and do not worry about paying for the service. I tried to insist that I pay but was told that it took too long for it to be completed, so they would take care of it. Now that is customer service, they recognized that it was their responsibility due to an appointment being made and did something that was not expected to make it right.    Read moreAlignment gone wrong! So, I have only lived in town a few years so I've been trying different places for different things and most of my experiences have been overall pretty awesome. Well...I have been having some issues with my front end and I had this repair shop put on some parts that I was going to do myself but I have been so busy lately and haven't had much time to get around to it. I am mechanically inclined but not a master mechanic. As some would say, I know just enough to get me in trouble. Anyway, took my truck into this place with trust in they would get my alignment done and done right. Typically when you get an alignment done its so your new tires won't get trashed in just under 2 months. Well...not sure why I paid them to do an alignment, or if they even did it because 2 months later and both the inside tread is completely gone and I'm showing back up in their shop with the belts showing on the insides of my BRAND new tires. An honest alignment shop would have told me flat out they can't do a proper alignment because of whatever the problematic factor maybe. 5 oaks looked me straight in the eye and told me she's straight. Well when I brought it back to them just recently they informed me that I needed lower ball joints for both sides and a tie rod. This truck has been on nothing but highway for the past two months, theirs no way these parts wore that quickly if they weren't already....which in fact should have been notified immediately of such. So now, 5 oaks.... I have to put out over $200 in tires/labor/alignment ONCE again and now you just lost a customer for life because I can't trust you nor did you guys offer any kind of reimbursement. If anything you guys acted offended that I refused any future service. Well...I know you ripped me off and unfortunately now I have to spout off about it. Thanks, 5 Oaks... Praying for you and the families that you rob!!! Think about the heartache you are putting people through. ...
