I put one star because it wouldn't let me post with no stars. Buyer beware!!!!!
I bought a black shoulder bag from the Coach Outlet in Pigeon Forge. It arrived with 2 straps of different lengths, both of which had flimsy child-like, cheap snaps or clasps.
The first time I used it, the snaps and straps failed and the purse fell off and onto the floor. I called the store to advise of the defect. They told me to make sure the button or spring depressor faced outward. I said I tried it both ways and it didn't make a difference. The clasp or snaps were not properly made to use with a shoulder bag- obviously not supposed to fall apart and onto the ground when using.
I was told I had a year to bring it in and that they had documented all information and the problem.
I went to the store after driving a great distance to get there, to return the handbag in person and to show them the problem. I left the bag with the manager.
I received an email saying I would be refunded the full amount to the original method of payment. I then got another email saying they were only giving store credit.
I had already looked at the shoulder bags in the store. Each one had the same very cheap snaps or closures on the straps that would not stay closed, with weak springs. They fall off no matter which way the spring button faces.
Coach would not stand behind their product and then reneged on their written statement that they would refund my money.
Coach is not the same product it used to be. I have owned many Coach bags over the years but they are now inferior, with poor quality buckles or snaps.
Beware! There are many other brands to choose from. Don't support inferior products or bad customer service. ...
Read moreWe went to exchange a purse that my mom had bought in December. We could not go last weekend due to myself having Covid. When we went to the store they were quite rude with my mother. She explained that she tried to get everything in the purse and it wouldn’t fit. She explained that we couldn’t come last week since she was exposed, and that she wanted a bigger purse. She was going to get one and just pay the difference. The manager came over stated that it was past the 30 days and that she wasn’t going to accept it. Even though we were less than 3 days out from the return timeframe, and had bought over $500 in purses. Like we do every Christmas for the family. She additional stated that mom had left a personal item in purse. To which mom explained again that she had tried to fit everything in it prior to returning it. We will not be buying from them again. The manager was rude and talked down to my mother the whole time. We went to Michael Kors and found a much nicer purse. They will not receive our...
Read moreWe went into Coach because we like them and we were greeted by Jesse. He gave us our space and let us look around but always seemed to appear at the right time when we had a question and he helped provide excellent information, suggestions and what was the best deal to get the most for your money. He was fabulous. Amazingly, he helped me and another lady who was shopping nearby while not "pressuring us". I really liked that. Now after Jesse had approached us , 2 other people asked to help us but we were already charmed by Jesse. So when we went to check out, the lady asked us who helped us and I said, Jesse, he was awesome, he was "everywhere ", ironically the lady who was shopping next to me was checking out too and she agreed. We had a little giggle about it. So if you're in town and want excellent customer service, please go visit the Coach outlet and see Jesse,...
