The Candy Vault — Attraction in Sonora

My and my friend (both Hispanic) walked up to the register to check out and get ice cream when The younger man worker yelled "I saw you throw Somthing away" "what are you chewing" after saw me throw Somthing away (a toothpick) and saw me chewing (gum) he then accused me of "sampling" their product after looking at me through the cameras the whole time I was in the store and made my friend go get her pack of gum from her backpack across the store to prove it was hers and not from the store ‚he then gave a half asked "apology " it made us feel uncomfortable as we never expected to be treated that way in our hometown and me and my friend still had the decency to put back the candy but we will never go there again even though we have been going here since we were little girls. it broke our hearts. The situation was handled very poorly. So don't go to the candy vault after lunch if you have a tooth pick, don't throw anything away in there trash can because they'll asume it's their product, don't chew gum or anything chewable or just don't go...

Been coming here for years, recently had a couple bad experiences with the younger staff and them muttering profanity and acting bothered when asked for products. Tried messaging owners privately to help resolve the issue, but was confronted angrily by them the next time I came in. Super unprofessional and beyond crazy. My son and I loved going here, he is super upset and how dare they put us in this position of not being able to patronize this place anymore after I tried to give them a heads up privately! So we went there for ice cream and that was very good. However I bought a sea salt caramel and it turned out to be totally stale. Threw most of it away. I also noticed some chocolate candy under the counter that was infact showing that whitish appearance that stale chocolate gets. I asked for the dark chocolate version of my candy and the guy said it was but it certainly didn't taste like it. It tasted like milk chocolate. So im only giving 3 stars for the ice cream.
