Sunglass Hut — Attraction in South Lake Tahoe

Went in ready to get 4 pairs of sunglasses expecting the standard Sunglasses Hut service. Instead I was accosted and recieved quite possibly the worst customer service of my life from TRACY, if she is assisting you beware of being rushed and pressured, being told you don’t know how to handle sunglasses, as well feeling you’re intruding on her space by shopping in the store. Approached her with some constructive criticism and received nothing but hostility and belittling. She felt the need to boast her 25 years retail experience, and its truly sad her sorry excuse for customer service has been helping people for 25 years. If you’re in Tahoe looking for someplace to get sunglasses go anywhere but here if Tracy is helping you. That being said if it furthers your buying experience to buy from a rude, indignant, and demeaning sales person I’m sure Tracy would be glad...

Great selection of glasses! Especially for folks like me who forget to bring theirs from home. My husband and I treated ourselves to new glasses and LOVE them - they are polarized and the associate helped to size/clean them before we left. Karen is a class act and one of the best customer service experiences my hubs and I have encountered. She was knowledgeable about the trends of sunglasses, informed about facts around protective eyewear, and really kind and helpful. She didn't rush us even though we came in 10mim prior to closing. Another couple came in 5 after close and she still let them look around with no issue. Would recommend you get your glasses in...

To whomever it may concern..... Tracey gave my friends and I the most atrocious customer service. I was not even going to purchase sunglasses, just looking with my friends who were GOING to buy $600 worth of sunglasses, until Tracey disrespected and denigrated them Based on age. I was so uncomfortable to the point I had to leave the store. Unfortunately, the actions of one sales rep have lost sunglasses Hut my service indefinitely. If this is the type of employee that Sunglasses Hut chooses to employ I strongly suggest you not go to this Tahoe location or any other place...
