I don’t know if she’s the owner or if she was having a bad day but I had such a weird experience at this gallery. I’ve lived in Tahoe on and off for years and I ever never been treated with such disrespect. I am a black woman and my two friends with me were also of color and the second we walked into this gallery the woman manning the store came from behind the desk and followed us as we tried to peacefully enjoy the art. All around the store there were signs saying not to take photos and we were respectful and followed the rules. There was another woman in the store taking photos with the camera sound on and the person running the store wasn’t following her or keeping an eye on her. I’m shocked at how blatantly obvious her bias was in assuming that we were in there to cause trouble or whatever she thinks 25 year old women of color are up too in a gallery. I simply wanted to show my friends from out of town this cool gallery and the art of the local artists and it’s very disappointing that in a place as public the heavenly ski resort that this business is able to just assume the worst in people. Thought artists types were supposed to be kind and understanding of all people, I’ll take my business to other many local galleries in Tahoe. Hope whoever that lady was is just having bad day and isn’t just a profiler.

Tahoe throwback. I forgot to post this while I was visiting Tahoe, but I must share this place. It was a pretty sweet little find. Pacific Crest Gallery fine art furniture and gifts. This spot had some great gifts for others and for yourself. The neatest was this forever candle with these beautiful designs inside that you see in the picture. The regular candles all smelled so good and they had a variety of sizes and prices to choose from. Mittens, adorable nightlights, cutting boards, keepsakes, jewelry, Hammitt handbags, art, great greeting cards, magnets, amazing lamps out of drift wood, hand woven blankets, and great scarves. The Naked Bee is a brand that looks similar to Burt's Bees and all the scents and products were awesome. Chirping Bird Wine Pourer - had to get a video of that. They also have silver forest earrings which I learned are super amazing. They will even replace a lost or missing earring if you lose one to your pair. The customer service was great! I thought the lady who was working was the owner because she was so passionate and excited to tell us about the store and the inventory. I will definitely be back and will tell others to check it out!

My fiancée and I had a great time checking out this shop after visiting Sand Harbor Beach. We were walking around this shopping mall and my fiancée wanted to look at earrings in here. She found 2 that she like and the lady working there that day was very helpful and friendly to us. They had some nice pictures on the wall for sale, I didn't know about the no pictures even though it was posted on the white papers around the store. But the lady didn't kick me out and was very understanding, I did that before my fiancée was looking at the earrings. She found one that she like and got it. They had some amazing pictures that I would've got for my living room or bedroom but since I flew into Sacramento I didn't think it would fit in an airplane.

Extremely rude experience at this shop. We stopped in because their forever candles caught our interest while walking by, primarily for a wedding gift. The woman explained the candles to us, the forever wick, fuel, etc. It caught my sister's attention as well who intended to buy a couple of the larger candles in addition. After bringing in the newlyweds to see if its something they'd like, they declined because tho it was nice, its candles weren't really their thing; so I decided to buy two of the smaller candles, $29.99 each and the light/illumination base, to test it out and if we liked it, we'd come back when we were in town next month to buy a couple of the larger ones... not to mention, my sister was still deciding on which ones she wanted to purchase... however because I decided to buy the two smaller candles, the woman got rude and said after all of that, you are only buying the small candles... after all of that??? I responded and said that we'd like to try it out and if we liked it, we'd be back next month when we're back in town... and her response was (was in a very rude manner) yeah, after all of that you're only buying the small candles? As if it was an inconvenience to her to do her job and explain the product. My sister was planning to make her purchase after we completed ours but instead, we all walked out as I would never spend my money at an establishment that treats their customers in this manner. It's really unfortunate because had she been professional and not been rude to potential customers, we would have purchased a lot more than two $29.99 candles.

I rarely ever write reviews but I could not ignore this rude experience. I hope the owner of this...
