First off view is amazing, 3 stars. -2 stars for some staff not all and price. They sold us EXPENSIVE tickets 1hr before closure saying we can get on and once we are on we are locked in past closure. We road up to the first stop getting amazing views the staff was nice. Getting up to the last stop with 30mins left before closure, the guy told us to stay on the trolley everything is closed, as I was in the trolley trying to explain what had been told to me he kept saying the same thing. Then as we were 3/4 of the way around the turn to return he said you can get off but nothing to do except walk around for 30mins; it was too late for us to even step off if we wanted to. By the time we made it off everything below was closed to even make a complaint or get some kind of resolve. My 2 trolley party felt scammed, and not happy with the disconnect between the ticket booth and last departure. They should’ve properly inform us of what closes (we asked, and given a false response at the booth or at the top) or make it cheaper for those who just want to take pictures closer to closing time because the ride also...
Read moreReally cool activity, but very very expensive. Scan the QR code at the entrance to save five dollars per person. Normally $85 for ages 13 and up. This gives you an all day pass, so start early to get your value. I think they open at 10 AM. The activities at the top of the hill are really cool, but they each cost dollars. The Tamarack Lodge restaurant is open during the summer and offers typical grill food. My kids did the tubing and said it was really fun but pretty rough on your butt. The views are amazing. The observation deck is absolutely incredible. This trim makes two stops along the way. The first as the observation deck which has a gift shop snacks, and restrooms as well as incredible views. The second stop is to the Tamarack Lodge area. This area has most of the activities. You can actually continue on for free on two different traditional chairlifts, and go up higher on the mountain and then hike down if you want. still pretty expensive though. Plan on spending $30 per...
Read moreOur family purchased the gondola +1 activity for 11 people online the day before. There were some delays with issuing our bracelets, but after that everything was incredibly efficient. All of the staff seem to genuinely love their jobs and were very friendly. The gondola is much more impressive than from the street view. We spent time on the observation deck (midway) to take in the views, which were spectacular. At the top, everyone in our party (age 9-74 ) rode the Ridge Rail which was a blast and I highly recommend. We ended up adding on the panning activity for the kids and they were delighted by the sack of rocks they got to take home. The lodge has a food court (excellentfrench fries!), plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and spacious restrooms. Even though the price felt steep, it was worth...
