Absolutely loved my stay here. Location: within walking distance to everything. Literally right across the street from the gondola which took 3 minutes tops to walk to. Grocery store maybe 7 minutes to walk to. There is no shuttle directly from the airport but you can get dropped off at Harvey’s and walk 7 minutes easily. Kitchenette: includes electric stove top, pots and pans, cutlery, and everything you need- even dish soap. Being able to grab groceries close by to cook meals was fantastic! Rooms: On the older side but very cute and cozy and perfect for a winter getaway. Other: the continental breakfast is a nice touch. Nothing fancy but everything you need and the coffee is actually decent coffee, not watered down like I was expecting. Highly recommend this place and would absolutely book again.

Do yourself a favour and stay next door at Base Camp Hotel. The rooms at Stardust are dark, the pillows and sheets smell like a disco party (tip: use fragrance free detergent), I had trash at the door of my room I had to step over both mornings I walked out. Nice way to start the day! Then I asked for new towels and my trash and room to be cleaned, and it wasn't done. When I complained they said 'We can give you a refund!' Wow. Basecamp is another world: friendly people at the desk, coffee bar inside the hotel, nice brekkie. Too many other options than this place.

Unit Type:   1 Bedroom - 2nd Floor Occupancy:   4 Kitchen:   Partial Kitchen The room was beautiful, and the kitchen fully equipped with everything imaginable. Two head shower was great. Clean towels daily per request. Floors & groats was super clean. We were pleasantly surprised. Continental breakfast with flavored coffee was great for an easy free breakfast. It is right on the strip so it was very nice walking around. Casinos and restaurants all right there. The best part was it snowed for my daughter's 24th Birthday. We had a great time.

This place started out rough and ended rough. The beds feel like you’re sleeping on a rock and they make loud squeaking noises. We let the front office know and thought worst case scenario they can’t do anything and best case scenario we get a different mattress. The owner was nice enough to upgrade our room and give us a free bottle of wine so the bed problem was fixed. Then it went downhill from there. They got the dates of our stay incorrect on the phone originally and then again in person so they ended up charging us the correct amount after ASSUMING we wanted to stay an extra night. They also never sent an email confirmation because they got our email wrong TWICE and my mom had to call 4 times just to get her email confirmation. This place runs off assumptions from what I saw. We were told by a front office employee that the maids went into our room, saw our stuff still there, so they ASSUMED we wanted to stay an extra night at only around 10am(checkout is 11am). THEY LEFT OUR ROOM DOOR OPEN knowing they have MULTIPLE raccoons roaming around the property. We couldn’t even leave to have dinner our final night because they leave trash bins in front of the rooms with no locks to keep the raccoons out so we had 2 just sat in front of our door for hours. I called the office to let them know, just to give them a heads up and all I got was an “ok”. When I went to the office to “check out” I was met with a ghetto manager. Her face was a mean mug and when I said “I’m here to speak to the manager” I got a “yeah whats up”. She let me tell my side and I gave her the bottle of wine back as well. When she started speaking it was with an attitude and with no sorry’s. No apologies, no sorry for the inconvenience, just a lot of excuses. All I wanted was some acknowledgment or a sorry and I would’ve been fine. Instead I was met with yelling. She then kept saying “we assumed” to this, that, and the other. Again, running a business off assumptions is unprofessional and not smart when trying to fix something with a paying customer. Her and her employee at the front desk spent most of the time giggling like teenagers and scrolling on their phone which I also thought was unprofessional. If you’re looking for good customer service, comfy beds, and good communication, stay anywhere else! Also, they call it a complimentary breakfast but it’s donuts from down the street and frozen...

We stayed at the Stardust Lodge for 2 weeks, 2 adults in a 1 bedroom unit. We have stayed at the Stardust before and continue to enjoy our stays. The unit is very clean and housekeeping works all week long deep cleaning units. Since the seasons were changing from summer to fall, floor fan units were not needed anymore. Housekeeping was vacuuming each unit before storing for next years guests. They removed rugs from rooms and were beating them with brooms and letting them air out on balconies.||The 1 bedroom unit has a king size bed and a sleeper couch. The kitchen is small but sufficient. No oven, but microwave, dishwasher, 2 burner unit, pots, plates, utensils, coffee pot, blender, etc. The Stardust does provide complimentary breakfast in the mornings (donuts, waffles, hard boiled eggs, bananas, oranges, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, apple juice). You can pick up breakfast items and eat in your room or in the activity center which has tables and chairs. ||The Stardust does have daily activities available (see photo), some pay and some free. There is always fresh popcorn available in the front office. 2 hot tubs and 2 pools with one pool closed during the winter season. Bicycles are available during summer months. There is not an elevator and 2 floors of units. WiFi works well. ||The staff are very friendly and ask how we are doing, how can they help, etc. Thank you to Lizette, Alex and Victor in the activities center. Gaby in the front desk was nice and friendly. Marcos was a member of the maintenance team and he provided education on local bears and waved to us daily. ||The location is great. Walking distance to the lake, restaurants, Target, local stores, casinos and hiking areas. We...

We we’re told upon booking, room had not been upgraded yet and that it did not have air conditioning. We asked to see a picture of room but it was not available. Room was available to check in at noon. We got there around 1pm. Room was extremely outdated and the bed skirt was very dirty with yellow stains all over it. Called desk & maids came & told me Bedding was clean they would I just change the bed skirt. Upon my insistence to change the full bedding they did. Upon returning to room our room curtains would not close and people kept looking into room loudly stating that “wow glad our room doesn’t look like that one”since it was so dated. At night we tied curtains to door so we could sleep in privacy. Room was so hot they have nets on the doors so you can leave your door open to let the heat out. Tahoe was having record high temps. I called the desk and an older gentleman answered immediately had an attitude & said he’d cancel reservation. I told him he could Atleast discount the room. He didn’t apologize for the inconvenience & refused & stated he could just charge $500 a night to someone else. Stated he had been doing this for 23 years. I originally booked a different hotel 6 months ago and got a great price but that hotel was a far walk from concert we were attending. For the price I spent on one night at This place last minute which was $278 I could have been in a very nice hotel. If your hotel standards Are not up to par don’t try to charge what the actual nice hotels charge.Would never stay here again...
