Blue Skies — Attraction in South Padre Island

Don’t shop here!!! My husband and I visited this store and spent over $200 on towels, souvenirs and $60 on a “JBL” speaker. When we got back to our hotel, my husband tried to connect the speaker through the JBL app and it wouldn’t connect. Come to find out, the speaker is counterfeit!

So, my husband went back to the store and was refused a refund. They said they would only exchange the speaker with something else in the store, even after we spent nearly $260!! When my husband asked why they would sell counterfeit products and not offer refunds, he was told that he “Is on the island and should know better and should buy products like this at Best Buy or Walmart”! The only helpful person in the store was a woman who told my husband that they would lose a lot of money if they allowed returns because they know their products are counterfeit. She also warned him to make sure when he went to pay that they knew what rack our shirts came from because they will charge us more.

What’s even worse is that they are aware that they are selling cheaply made counterfeit products and charging tons of money for these items. Not to mention, their personalized screen printed shirts are carelessly made. Most of the decals don’t look the same on the shirts as they do on the wall and they refuse to print another shirt for you if the picture is off centered!

The employees know full well that they are selling counterfeit products and don’t inform customers that if there is a problem with the product, they cannot return it. This store and it’s employees are scam artists and have no morals or respect for...

This place is musty, and cheap quality, overpriced gifts. She has a discount section for clothes and items that get damaged in the store as well as shirts, shot glasses ( that section is priced well I must say) I picked up a shirt and go over there and try to put a decal on it and she tried charging $5.99 original price for the shirt. Then says she’ll do $3.99…. Once we told her we got it from the $1.99 section she claims people move stuff all the time however, there’s about 10 or 12 shirts (exactly the same) in different colors. The sign clearly states everything is 199. I understand if someone move something to a different section however, there, or at least a dozen other shirts and all kinds of sizes that are the exact same as the one we found. Overall, the main reason why I left was instead of understanding that we just spent 15 minutes looking for something in that section that would fit my wife as she is extra small only to be nickeled and dime up at the register. It was a very bad experience, and you could tell the store was desperate, but ultimately I decided to walk out and I will never visit this...

I would give zero stars if I could. My family and I was in there shopping and my niece came over and told me the older guy who put a print on her towel was rude and threw it at her and didn't say anything when he was done... then my mom picked a print for a t-shirt and this same older guy did it and threw it at her. I was going to get one so he says " what you want" I was totally shocked and disgusted how he just treated my Mom! I asked him why he threw it at her... he says "I didn't, I tossed it" and walks away to let someone else help us. She comes over and I let her know what picture I wanted. I asked her what his problem was and she ignored me and had her back to us talking on her ear piece... probably talking to him. I was so done... we all put our stuff down and walked out. I'm not taking that disrespect and teaching my nieces not...
