Holiday Sand Sculpture Village — Attraction in South Padre Island

I loved this place. It’s located in Gravity Park near the Ferris wheel. I went for spring break and absolutely loved it. There are beautiful sand sculptures. There are a couple of sand boxes in front before you enter the sand museum if you or the children would like to play and do anything you like(just for fun purposes). At first I thought, "they're just sand castles." But I stood in AMAZEMENT when I saw them in person. We walked around for about an hour admiring every detail that went into each beautiful works of art. This place is FREE. And to help keep it open to the public for free, we donated some money (which is optional). I want others to enjoy this when they come to visit Padre Island. They have so many beautiful things to offer but this is a MUST SEE...

What an unexpected gem to stumble upon during our recent SPI trip! I’m in awe of the artistry that goes into creating these incredible sand sculptures. This is a kid-friendly exhibit (complete with a scavenger hunt). Stop by while waiting for the Ferris wheel at Gravity Park and support local artists!!
