Game Changerz — Attraction in South Salt Lake

These guys are the best! Not only is their selection of both retro and modern games varied and reasonably priced, their customer service is what I can only describe as “above and beyond.”

Today I brought in my Nintendo 64 and two of my favorite games for it (Ocarina of Time, and Super Mario 64) thinking it was surely on its last leg. It had two major problems: it took multiple attempts (sometimes upwards of 20) to get it to turn on, and once it was on it had the even worse problem of constantly resetting itself which can wipe save data and makes for an overall morose gameplay experience in general. They gave both of my games and the cartridge slot a 20 year overdue deep clean which fixed the start up problem. They then went about fixing the restarting problem by troubleshooting it all kinds of ways, and with each obstacle they did not give up. They eventually had to open the old girl up, treating it with the utmost respect and care all the while. They gave the inside a careful and in depth cleaning as well. It appeared that gunk and corrosion were causing the resetting issue so after the cleaning they took it in the back to solder a few corroded points. After that they put it back together with the same care they showed taking it apart and plugged into their testing setup for testing. It worked like it was brand new and there wasn’t a hint of the previous problems left. They saved my Nintendo 64 that I’ve had since I was six years old (now 28) and for that I couldn’t be more grateful. This is by far the best game store I have ever been to I have never run into issues with them whatsoever in any way shape or form they have always had excellent customer service they have helped me out more times than I could count if I was a millionaire and I had more than enough money to buy this company for game changers I would and I would make this company grow so big that it was the biggest company for gaming in the world they have all sorts of selections from some of the oldest gaming stuff to the newest gaming stuff and they always have something new almost all the time a lot of people need to hear about this place if you are a gamer and you love the game or you are new to it and need a good experience or whatever your situation with gaming is I recommend highly recommend this place they know what they're doing and they're awesome people not only that but game changerz whatever location you go to beat GameStop buy a pretty decent amount for both selling and buying games so please if you're going to go to a game store I highly recommend this place not only that but they have an extremely clean store they just recently upgraded little by getting a bunch of new colorful stuff making it look all fancy and nice and yet at the same time still keeping with the same idea of helping all Gamers out when they are able to do so not only that but the best part about game changers is one simple thing you can get a game pass for a whole year very little I rate game changerz five stars may this company grow and flourish for the...

We took our son's ps-3 in because it kept telling us the files were corrupted, and the system needed to reset and restart. After speaking with the man at the front counter, he told us it would be $24.95 to reset it. We agreed to this, and he turned it on to start the process. He then said, if it was okay with us, there was something he wanted to try before completely resetting it. 5-minutes later, he called us back to the counter, and told us it was ready to go. He then spoke with his technical support man, and came back out to inform us that there was going to be NO CHARGE for fixing our ps-3. He said that since he was able to get it up and running without any tech support assistance, there would be no charge! We had no problem with paying him the $24.95 we aggreed to, but he said not to worry about it, and just think of them when we needed anything else. We could not believe that he had repaired our machine without charging us. How freaking refreshing it was too have such an honest, and pleasent man to deal with. Most places would have taken our $25.00 and been good with it. We felt so bad that he had spent time fixing it, and charging us nothing, we decided to pick up a couple of games while we were there, and we will DEFINITELY come back to them when we need anything in the future!
