Five Below — Attraction in Sunset Hills

When I need a buy something to "cheer me up" Five Below never disappoints! If I'm in need of a gift for, anyone really, but I don't want to or can't afford to spend a lot at the moment, Five Below is my "go to store" for that too! You can get everything from the gift, to the wrapping paper or bag, to the card, to balloons and to nearly any other party supplies, both young & older themed ideas! A favorite of me and my kids is their candy selection. Part of the candy is similar to what we referred to as "penny candy" back when I was a little kid and you can get 3 pieces of Laffy Taffy or 18 pieces.... You can pick, mix and match even!! No manager on site on 10/3/21 at Five Below Sunset Hills. I visited your Fivebelow.com website and there is no method to lodge a concern directly to the company so I'll have to resort to leaving a poor review. On Sunday Oct. 3 at 1:30-1:45pm the very professional cashier Lauren could not find a manager to approve tax exempt status. Heidi the manager on duty was not in the building, she must have taken her lunch break offsite and left only one employee alone and in charge without full authority. Staffing is a challenging but Heidi should be repremanded for leaving during her shift. I will return to get a refund on the tax charged because Lauren didn't have permission. There was a sign on the front door that said 50% off summer, however that was not true and I should’ve guessed it wasn’t true. It was only true for a few items and there was no way of knowing that, we left feeling deceived. Also, my little sister was excited to use a gift card and plan to buy a lot of things. However the card couldn’t be read and she had to put everything back. We had a very bad experience and left the store unhappy with many complaints.
