Surprise Marketplace — Attraction in Surprise

Surprise Marketplace takes up both north and south sides of Bell Road and is just west of the Grand overpass hill known as Veterans Bridge I believe. In my shopping experiences, few known to me, have as much diversity in their stores and eateries. You've got your Lowe's on the south side of Bell, with Home Depot on the north side of Bell. Electronics are covered wuth Best Buy, Lens Crafters and the more budget oriented Target and Walmart. Office Depot and many other smaller shops and stores. There are Plenty of restaurants of both walk in and sit down, along with fast food chains. Applebee's, International House of Pancakes, Panda Express, Olive Garden, Red Lobster. Then fast food places like Jack-in-the-Box, Taco Bell, Carls Jr., and a couple more eateries the names of which, I do not recall. Now that I'm thinking about it, I've been to no shopping locations that outperform Surprise Marketplace!...

I love this store. " LOWES. " Friendly helpful people every where. Even other customers have help with various things. This visit was no different. Once in a while you find real bargains. Working on a flooring project one of the sales people told me about a special order of flooring which was not picked up. I rounded the corner and found top name brand water prof flooring marked down to $5.00. . The sales person gave me some tips and helped us go through everything.

When I got to the check out each box had to be oked by the manager. Then the register would discount it. I was impressed. They formed a 3 man team. Scan the box. Enter the managers credentials and enter the new price

So go $150.00 I got 1500.00 worth of flooring. And help loading it in to my truck.

This shopping center has many great stores, and for us, just about everything we need for hours of shopping with just one stop. BestBuy, Lowe's, Target, Ross, Bed Bath & Beyond, Barnes & Noble, Lane Bryant, and another couple of specialy shops, like a nail salon, Ulta Beauty, AutoZone and maybe one or two other shops. Hungry? This place has Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Chick-Fil-A, Carl's Jr. and Del Taco. A bank is on the corner (BBVA Compass), and at the far South end there is a Comfort Inn & Suites.

The whole place is maintained really well, but I would caution you in parking near most of the trees in the shopping center. Most of the trees regularly emit tiny little sap like drops that will cover your car and having it looking pretty terrible...
