Absolutely stunning waterfall! With that being said, I read reviews and it said family friendly, it was NOT family friendly! Very narrow and slippery in many many places. Loose dirt with nothing to grab onto. Very dangerous. I took my 5 year old on this hike and although the end was rewarding, in many places I was terrified feeling as if we were going to fall down into the raging river. My 5 year old was in fear and scared. If it were not for her dad we may have not made it. This hike is for experienced hikers and not young children. We parked at Carhenge and made the short walk across town to the trailhead. This is also the trailhead for Jud Wiebe Trail.
