I never thought I would say this but I had a really amazing experience buying sunglasses! Usually I grab some "gass station" (lol) sunglasses and call it good. They work and look ok. But everything changed when I met the sunglasses sales woman, Sasha.
Sasha helped me understand a whole new world involving glasses. For one, I did not know that you select glasses to match facial structure. That way it accentuates certain facial features. I also did not know that each brand has its own style unique amongst other brands. I got to learn what a "double bridged" glasses looks like. Another interesting thing I learned was about how much a single size up or down in sunglass can change the feel and fit of the glasses. Before this, I had no clue glasses came in different sizes.
When I first came into the store I did not know what I wanted but I had a rough dress style in mind that I had been putting together. Well how everything ends turns out has to be a insane lining up of the universe. While Sasha was helping me figure out what style of glasses looked best on me over about a hour of Sasha patiently and expertly helping me try on different pairs, we finally found 2 awesome looking pairs. Well, one of those glasses was from a model's image I was using to help put my style together online. I had not shown Sasha the image until at checkout when I was double checking the style matchup. I had not paid much attention to brands in the image so this shocked me.
What this showed me was Sasha is very in touch with art style and fashion. She is very knowledgable about glasses as well and showed me how to pick out new glasses on my own. I had a amazing experience buying glasses, I really think Macy's or whoever does the hiring process knows their stuff when picking their employees. I firmly believe Sasha is so good at her job, she's probably over-qualified. I can easily see her designing and putting clothing items that models and movie stars walk down the runway wearing. I walked in and had almost no idea of what I wanted aside from a rough and general dress style for glasses to go with. With that little ammount of information, Sasha picked out a amazing pair of glasses!
Wherever Sasha goes and whatever profession she chooses, I know she will have a huge positive impact on her community like she had on a customer like myself.
Thank you Sasha and Merry...
Read moreI recently visited the skincare and cosmetics department at Macy's and was warmly welcomed by Candace Panek, who was an absolute delight. I was looking for a few Origins skincare products, and Candace not only helped me find exactly what I needed but did so with such sweetness, kindness, and professionalism. Her exceptional demeanor and welcoming personality make me look forward to returning to Macy’s even more now.
I left feeling extremely satisfied with my purchase, and I believe Candace truly deserves recognition for her excellent customer service. In addition, a few other associates on the floor also checked in with me while Candace was searching for a product, showing the entire team's dedication to their customers.
I would like to update my review based on my most recent experience at Macy's. I had the pleasure of meeting Amber, who was an absolute delight. She took the time to expertly color-match me for an Anastasia Beverly Hills product, demonstrating both professionalism and attention to detail. Amber was not only kind and courteous but also went the extra mile by assisting me in selecting an additional product and providing generous samples for me to try. Her exceptional customer service skills truly deserve recognition.
The GM of Macy's should be proud to have such a wonderful team of women, all of whom demonstrated great self-awareness and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service. Thank you, Candace, for making my shopping experience a beautiful one. I’ll be back...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would. I will never shop at Macy's ever again. What has happened to customer service? Macy's used to be a special, enjoyable experience when shopping. Now, I suppose it is all about profit. I went to my local (Temecula) Macy's 4 days ago to shop for an outfit for a wedding. I spent a total of 1 hour with HORRIBLE customer service. When I was trying to pay for the outfit, I asked the sales associate a question about shipping to the store as they did not have my size. She walked away from the counter to "find out" and never returned. I was left standing at the counter for at least 5 minutes waiting for her return while other customers were being helped by other sales associates. She never returned. The explanation offered to me by a manager working another register and witnessing the event was that the sales associate was only helping out in that department and had left to go back to her original station... while in the middle of helping a customer? Eventually, I paid for the outfit with the promise that I could pick it up AT THE STORE in 5-7 days. About 1 hour ago, I found an email from Macy's stating they CANCELLED my order with no explanation. I called customer service who could not give me an explanation... this is not the first bad customer service I have received in the past year or so at Macy's. I feel now something needs to be said. Macy's, you have lost me as a customer for life. I will never visit a...
