I would give no stars at all if possible because of customer service. One of the girl at the counter today had a really bad attitude towards me did not smile at all. I picked up my order that I placed online. Which was two different orders. The reason why there were two different orders was because my friends ordered with my account online and we paid together. When I got to the store, my friend placed another order online hoping I could pick up together with the other orders because it was only one item. I did not know it takes some time to get the order to go through. When I picked them up, the one girl at the counter had a really bad attitude and not patient enough to go grab my orders. I asked her I just placed another order online it’s only one item ask her if I could just pick up at the same time. I understand the store process it takes two hours to be ready. I was not forcing her to do anything about it or asking any favor. She said I just have to wait. She doesn’t know how long. I still understand that did not say anything at all still nice to her and canceled the order and just bought whatever my friend want in store and paid for it. The only thing that made me upset was the girl’s attitude towards me. The way she talked to me and the way she treated me was just really different. Not sure if that was being racist or looking down on me. Even though I smiled at her and still nice to her she didn’t smile a bit. We all have our own problems in our life but work is work. BUT, the employee in door store working at 4:30PM today let me pick up testers to scan for Instacart and bring to the register without signaling to me that they were actually testers and giving me the correct items. Come to find out, because I was doing Instacart apparently she might have been profiling me to see if I go to the register or something? I don’t know. All I have to say, is that I come here once in awhile only to do INSTACART and the way it was handled based on someone else she experienced was kind of unprofessional.
The employees also ignored the fact that there was a line building up for whatever reason. Took one girl from the front of the line to cash out on the side with no explanation. Very weird vibe.

Read moreI was so excited to have a free standing Sephora outside of the Galleria mall. I worked for Sephora for ten years and still have a hard time going elsewhere. I purchased an item that we eventually found out was non refundable. Which I totally understand but the product was defective.
I went to exchange it and handed it to the cashier to hold while I looked around and I told her i wanted to buy something instead if returning it. She helped me look all around and then when I went to purchase it took three associates to figure out that I was unable to return it. Never in my time with Sephora would we ever deny a return that was a manufacture defect. The so called store manager came out and with a super nasty attitude told me well the whole thing isn’t broken so just use the other parts. That is FANTASTIC customer service skills. I hope they use him to teach other managers. As a former store manager I would never speak to a customer in that way. Especially when they didn’t do anything wrong.
