This obstacle course is good for kids, pretty much fool proof which is why you are left on your own. Make sure to read the large description on the back board before making a purchase, they do not give you any verbal insights or recommendations. For example, if an obstacle is zip-tied or bolted off you learn while you are on the course you cannot access it, there is no prior heads up...it wasn't busy so I feel like they could have informed us prior. Nor is there any instructions where to start or how to rig along your journey...so strange.
The staff is barely friendly, nor very informed of their harness how to's, they solely tighten you up as per their liability policy. I rock climb and do obstacle courses often, I know how to properly set up harness but they would not understand that the harness was digging into lady parts it should not have. Instead of loosening up back straps, they gave me a bigger harness, which was too big, everything was loose for the whole course, lol.
We were hoping to have a good time but honestly for the money we spent, I feel there are better things to do with your money...
Read moreWe were lucky enough to arrive with no reservation and 5 kids from our camping group (it was raining and we needed something fun for them to do) and be able to do the course. There were plenty of staff members to help check us in, get the kids outfitted with harnesses and give them the safety briefing and equipment instruction before setting them loose on the course. As a parent observing without participating I felt completely confident my daughter was safe--you never have to unclip and reclip your harness; you're basically attached to a pulley system. If you want to pass someone or take an easier or more difficult part of the course you can at one of the platform sections. This kept them busy for well over a half hour. The only bummer was that the sensor for the zipline was out so the kids couldn't do that to finish. Management helped us out fairly. The ropes course was a blast and we'd definitely do it again. The entire Palisades Mall is full of fun...
Read moreWe got there as soon as it opened Saturday morning, and there was no wait or a line. Shocker I know. It was an amazing experience. This is the third time I go on this rope course, but the first time I go on with my kids. My son just turned 5 and my daughter 7. It’s a lot of fun to complete with friends… absolutely terrifying to get through with your kids. It was messy navigation for sure. But, the employees were amazing. You can tell they enjoy their work and are doing their best to ensure the safety of everyone. Aron, an employee, guided us through the course. He was patient, kind, and gave my son the courage to keep going. Isaiah, another employee, helped my daughter navigate the upper levels when she took off quickly with newfound confidence. These boys really gave us a quality experience. I wouldn’t have been able to give the kids positive memories of the adventure...
