Stay home!!! I am an AMC Stubs Premier Member since 2011. After not going to the movie theater since February of 2020, and watching movies during the PanDoomic on Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Netflix, Hulu+, Disney+, etc., (I sub to practically all these movie channels), I decided to book 2 Tix for my son & myself to the the latest James Bond movie, and what an absolute disappointment it was. The theater was packed (yes, it was a Saturday for a major movie), however the most egregious issue was there was no ventilation in the theater where the movie was playing and the air was still. Furthermore, there is no social distancing in the seating. The stranger next to you is within 12 Inches close to you & will be breathing on you for the the 3 Hours of the movie. It was just not gonna work for me. My son and I left the theater and I spoke to the manager Larry, who was very understanding, helpful and apologetic. He refunded me the over $100 worth of popcorn, snacks & cost of the movie tixs I purchased, and also gave me vouchers for free movies. Larry was amazing and a problem solver, however AMC Corporation is abysmal. They sent me gazillions of emails telling what they are doing to make their theaters safe and the 1st time I go back, I see one of the biggest violations of CV Protocols, no Social Distancing in the Seating Charts and no ventilation. I work in Healthcare and I became so annoyed when I experienced this and knew we couldn't comfortably sit in a seat for a 3 Hour movie while everyone is on top of each other and no ventilation. My son & I are fully vaxxed, however I am uninterested in getting CV, even if the effects will be mild. I don't see myself using those free movie vouchers which expire in Year, as I do not plan to go to any theaters for the foreseeable future. I have 3 huge big screen TVs at home and access to all these movies playing in the theaters. I will stick to that until we get a handle on the after effects of the PanDoomic. Finally, the Senior Executives at AMC should all be fired for incompetence, and plan to follow up with their Corporate Offices to vent my displeasure on my...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews but this was just one I couldn’t forget. I ordered food from the concession stand online for the very first time today, with a total of $58. It was my biggest disappointment yet. I ordered ahead of time around 3:40-50ish and had set my order for pickup by 4:25. Me and my boyfriend arrived and it was 4:28 so our food should’ve been ready and set to go, it wasn’t. I was standing by the counter trying to get a workers attention but they all tried to ignore me and was just helping customers on the line. I stood where it said pick up and was waiting to tell someone my name so they can help me, I noticed a girl standing at the register so I quickly hopped on line and told her we had an order that should’ve been ready now. She asked my name and I said it. She barely looked at my receipt and what I ordered. Just gathered a popcorn and an empty cup and then proceeded to help other customers in line. I was left standing there still with no help at all. I had a huge order. She just guessed my order and disregarded me as I’m standing there confused. I had to hop on the other line so I can get another employees attention and tell him my order should’ve been ready. He handled the situation a lot better and realized that our order should’ve been made already. He began to rush and informed his other co worker about what is missing and then continued to help other customers. I didn’t mind it’s just it was going on 4:30 something now and our show was supposed to start at that time so you can see how aggravating this was. I just had such a bad experience I’m really not happy with how the woman handled it. I was neglected just standing there not fully helped and I really didn’t appreciate her just throwing a popcorn and a empty drink at me like that was going to get rid of me. I believe it was extremely unprofessional and I’m extremely unsatisfied with how she handled it...
Read moreI came for an early afternoon showing of "The Batman". Much to my surprise, the theater was empty except for two staff. I must have been the first patron because they were just opening doors when I went in.
I got my ticket scanned and because I was the first customer and there were only two staff present, there was no one at the concession stand. Fortunately, one of the staff there was able to operate concessions too. I redeemed my free large popcorn. Got it fairly quick since I am the first and only. You can add condiments and butter on the left side by the escalators if your theater is located on the 2nd floor. The stations were clean.
My viewing was in theater 7. I was the only one in there so I was able to take some nice pictures. Originally I had chosen row D but after testing the view, I preferred C. I had seen that the seat in row C was still available so I asked for a change. But you have to go to the staff near entrance to do so and they happily did. The staff also asked if there's anything else I may need which is always nice to hear.
The seats looked clean but did look worn out, especially the popular seats. The recliner function worked fine. I enjoyed the 3 hour movie in these seats.
In regards to COVID, the sanitizing stations were well stocked and maintained. I wasn't asked to present vaccine card like other AMC theaters. I don't remember if the staff were wearing masks or not. I did not make a visit to the bathroom.
The theater has a parking lot in front of the theater but I can see it being problematic when you're looking for a spot during the times when a lot of movies are playing. If you don't mind the long walk, there's always other parking lots nearby for the mall. The theater is located next to...
