Do not put your kids in the daycare if they do not talk dangerous , My nine month old was at the daycare mind you They make you make a reservation for infants, younger than one years old as they are supposed to be in a separate section, I got a call around 20 minutes after my son was in the daycare saying that “he wasn’t doing so well” I said what do you mean that he was not doing so well they said that he won’t stop crying. Side note My son does not cry unless he wants to get out of the stroller needs a bottle or needs to be changed. he went to the bathroom before I dropped him off so I knew it most likely wasn’t that he needed go to bathroom, I told them to give him his bottle as it’s 1135 at this point and I have to pick him up at 12 because that’s when the daycare end so I said I’ll be there soon give him his bottle. He’s probably hungry. When I arrive, they hand me my 9 month old and as I’m putting him into the stroller he’s crying holding his face. I notice that he has a big welt on his face. I asked them what happened did he fall? The lady told me hang on let me find out so she goes in the back and she comes back and tells me that there was a kid sent home because he was hitting kids. If my son did not have the welt on his face & I Didint ask what happen to his face , They were never going to tell me that some kid was hitting him in the face with something. The kid was older than one years old, not even supposed to be in the infant section they took advantage of my son not talking , I would have never knew my son was being abused had he not had the welt on his face . They thought they would get away with not telling me my son was hit in the face because he doesn’t talk , after I asked was I was not notified that he was hit in the face the front desk lady says let me get the daycare manager. Ms Jackson comes out nonchalant like it’s not a big deal my 9 month old has a bogey on his face , her response was “what’s up” she was very rude and unprofessional told me I can’t get a incident report because she’s busy mind you there’s only two other kids in the daycare section and over 4 staff members , she told me I was not noticed my son was hit because staff was busy , she had a complete nasty attitude and completely unprofessional she should not be working in a setting of children , they were very dismissive rude and unprofessional, Do not trust these people with your kids especially if they...
Read moreI am writing this to express my deep disappointment, and if I could give zero stars, I would. Along with several friends and their families, we joined Lifetime for some extra summer fun. Our second visit was on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, just two days after signing up for the gym on July 7. That day also marked the beginning of the complimentary swimming lessons for our children.
The instructors for the younger kids (ages 3–7) were absolutely wonderful—kind, professional, and patient while teaching. Unfortunately, our experience with the instructor for the older kids, specifically with my 9-year-old daughter’s group, was unacceptable.
My daughter was placed in a class led by an instructor named Marcus. From the beginning, he started comparing her to another child in the class, shouting things like “Do FOLLOW HER!” while pointing at another student. Rather than encouraging or instructing, he stood outside the pool giving unclear directions in a loud, aggressive tone. My daughter began to frown and grow uncomfortable as he continued to yell at her without offering any constructive guidance.
The 30-minute class only got worse. Marcus looked visibly frustrated and continued yelling rather than calmly communicating with her. The final straw was when I heard him say to a lifeguard, “She sucks at swimming.” That level of disrespect toward a 9-year-old child is not only inappropriate—it is completely unacceptable.
I immediately went to the swimming office to file a complaint. The staff did not seem surprised and appeared to already know who I was referring to, which suggests that I was not the first to raise concerns about Marcus.
After the class, we tried to address the issue directly with Marcus. Shockingly, instead of showing any remorse or understanding, he responded with, “Now she learned,” as if yelling and belittling a child is a legitimate teaching method.
Excuse me—but do you seriously believe it is okay to yell at a 9-year-old girl to “make her learn”? That is not teaching. That is bullying.
This experience has left both me and my daughter deeply upset. Children should feel safe, encouraged, and supported when learning new skills—especially in an environment like Lifetime, which promotes family-friendly values.
I sincerely hope Lifetime takes this matter seriously and ensures that this kind of behavior is never repeated with any...
Read moreI’ve been going to equinox my whole life so my standards are probably a bit higher. I’m surprised about the reviews of people saying it’s clean. It’s somewhat clean. I decided to give lifetime a try bc it’s closer to my work and a easier commute, with the amount you over pay $219 I’m seriously thinking about going to cancel and go back to equinox.
Cons: Not clean enough for the amount we pay: locker rooms and showers are no where near as clean as equinox. People leave wet paper towels on the floor and there is always some type of nasty wet lint balled up. I never felt a need to wear slippers in equinox bathrooms, at lifetime I feel like I’ll get some type of disease if I forget my slippers. (I’m not ocd)
The weights and equipment here is pretty old, abused and run down as well. You can tell they haven’t updated any of it in a while which wouldn’t be that big a deal except the benches and the weights all have that greasy, oily feeling of someone’s sweat left behind. Something you’d expect at a golds gym but not a lifetime. Obviously it is up to the users responsibility to clean wipe and spray after usage but you can tell that there’s no staff that frequently or consistently wipes it down. At equinox there is always some one cleaning, I’ve never once been to an equinox where there wasn’t any one cleaning all the time. I understand lifetime is a much bigger facility and handles a lot more volume but with COVID and much more members funds should be allocated for more staff to clean or schedule a vigorous cleaning schedule.
Don’t get me wrong the amenities like pools and basketball courts are great and that’s probably what you pay the prime rate for but with the prime rate should come high standards for an improved membership experience. I’ve been to the lifetimes in the city and they are definitely way cleaner. Sadly they’re too far of a commute for me. Overall everything else is great here and if you don’t mind the type of attention to details That I’m being a stickler for then its perfect. For me if I’m paying a premium A month I expect my premium in...
