While they may not have it in stock, the Staples brand is usually a great value compared to others. But I still haven't learned to stay away from their clearance area which always has something that I didn't know I needed!! Their store manager has become both a tech advisor and a friend whose opinion I trust implicitly!! A recent purchase of a new printer after my 20+ years old Epson Workforce finally showed its last lines is a perfect example! Other Epson Workforce models were on sale for over a month and while I considered which one, each time I stopped by a different employee offered further information and elicited details of my usage that further narrowed my choice between the 3 models. A $30 credit for returning and recycling my old printer, credit for unused ink cartridges with their receipt, plus my own Rewards balance and other Staples coupons lowered the cost of a $170.00 printer and $160.00 in more ink to under $100.00!!!! And when I got home, I was informed by email that because of my purchases I'd earned another $20+ in Rewards as well!! And none of this would have been possible without both the guidance and the patience of my local Staples staff. I can't thank Courtney, Rob, and Katie (sic) enough for helping me fit this within my budget and even moreso, make it feel both easier and appreciated!! I'll be back and recommend...

After 15+ minutes of trying, and an associate insisting that they weren't having network issues, the associate finally relented and admitted that the store's internet was unbearably slow, making it near impossible to print documents from Google Drive or Dropbox. I had been on a time crunch, and noted such when stopping in, so this kind of back and forth was incredibly frustrating.
In the end, I was unable to print the documents I needed. I later checked my bank account and found that even though I was unable to print anything, not a single page, I was still charged $10. I will be stopping in to speak with a manager, in hopes of securing a refund. I find it incredibly frustrating that this associate essentially lied about the store's network capabilities, insisted their printers would be able to print my documents, and then still managed to charge me for services...

It was empty except for 2 customers at self serve copiers. Employees were chatting amongst themselves and wandering around. I went to the print desk and waited for 2 employees to finish their private conversation about his watch before she finally decided to ask what I needed. I told her and the 2 employees checked the hand held. She said “oh yeah. There it is. I wasn’t paying attention”.
