The State is on the main street of downtown Traverse City, so right in the middle of shopping and great restaurants. This theater is manned totally by volunteers and community supported, so it's even better to buy tickets and support the cause of keeping these theaters open. I highly commend them for making patron health their highest priority. Make sure you can show a copy of your vaccine card to get in. The seats are comfortable, leg room good. The facility is meticulously cared for and maintained. Does not have the typical movie theater feel at all. They have one screen, so it's not a place to go to pick between multiple movies at once.
