Valvoline Instant Oil Change — Attraction in Tualatin

My check oil level sensor came on so we Went in for a oil ND filter change ND Jason the manager said that he would just recommend a courtesy top up since it hasn't been long that i had change the oil. I said okay so Jason the left another of his guys do his job (Dylan) while Jason the professional manager drop everything to speak ND flirt with the beautiful your lady at the other bay. They said everything was filled ND the oil level were good. I got to the busy street and start seeing smoke ND i pulled over to the shopping center ND checked my oil ND the dipstick was dry. Jason didn't even know if the oil was checked he had to go back to his surveillance video to check if his other worker did his job for him. After i let my truck cool down ND tow truck showed up..I took my truck to jiffy lube where they said that I only needed1 quart of oil I called nd asked to speak to Jason's supervisor but he refused to give me the information. He said that he is the manager ND that there is no one above him.. will not be going back to this...

As I've told anyone who discusses cars with me, I've trusted the Valvoline brand since high school, often frustrating the rest of my family that I wouldn't buy the generic stuff at the grocery store. That's why I initially tried the Tualatin location about two years ago.

However, with their wonderful service, the way they take the time to discuss your options, and the friendly atmosphere, I insist my wife and I take our cars here every single time we need any filters or fluids dealt with. They know me personally at this location, and know without having to check their records that I always go for MaxLife 5W-30.

Jeremy, in particular, is great, and exudes professionalism while still being open and friendly. My only wish is that more people would come in. I've actively asked for business cards to recommend this place to my friends and family when Sundays are slow (hint, the perfect time to make a trip of it, and hit the self-service car wash off Boones Ferry on the way home).

UPDATE - avoid this place at ALL COST My claim was “reviewed” ahem by the “district manager” and he saw “no incident” and my claim was denied.

I guess the oil all over my engine magically appeared and not caused by the incompetent idiots working this place. Won’t even take responsibility for the damage caused.

I am requesting a full refund on the synthetic oil change I received on 2-2-2024. Please contact me and I will provide documentation. Your employees spilled so much oil on my engine there was a brining smell for a week and a half. I finally took my car into my normal mechanic to make sure that there was nothing seriously wrong - he literally chuckled. He could not figure out how your employees could be this incompetent.
