I love Old Navy but coming into this location usually ends in a negative experience. Most of the employees are very friendly and helpful, but I seem to always encounter the same cashier who is very unfriendly and doesnāt seem to want to be helpful. I would expect a lot better customer service for someone who is stationed at the registers. Most recently I asked if they price match online prices and she said no. I asked if I should buy it online for an in store pick up and she responded with āyeah but it will be a couple hoursā and Iām just thinking what?? Iām literally holding them in my hand right now. Maybe itās not actually as simple as I think it should be, but she was rude, curt, didnāt explain anything, and was not at all apologetic. She ultimately price matched for me but was clearly very upset about it. I believe the whole encounter would have gone much better if she just had a more positive and helpful attitude. I also needed to exchange a pair of shoes for a different size and she ended up giving me the wrong shoes, which I did not realize until I had gotten home. Itās quite a drive for me to get out there so Iām really unhappy about that.
Iāve returned things online several times and I know that if you have the bag it shipped in they can scan the barcode and pull up your return and process it for you. Every time I come in for an online return and this woman is helping me she just asks for my phone number. The first time it happened I had three or four different orders to return and I told her āoh they are all in the bags they shipped inā but was met with a blank stare. I ended up having to repeat to her my phone number over and over again. It does not seem very efficient for either me or her. At one point during the process I asked her if she could just scan the bag but she ignored me. Not sure if sheās not trained correctly or is just uncomfortable with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely horrible customer service on the phone to the location in Tualatin. I called and was placed on hold for 6 minutes. When they finally picked up the phone, there was no apology or even mention of the ridiculously long wait time. I didn't say anything about that and asked my original question which was about a certain dress and if they had it in stock. The female employee asked if I had the SKU number and I replied that I didn't, I'd just seen it advertised online and was wondering if the location nearest to me had it so I could just go buy it at the physical store instead of ordering it online, as well as checking out what else they had. Which would've led me to buying more than just the one dress I intended on getting. I asked if I could describe the dress and if the employee could just look for it and tell me if it's in stock. Her reply was, "Well we have lots of dresses" in a rude and irritated tone. I politely inquired once more if I could just describe the dress to her and she said no. I am by no means a "Karen " in any way, shape or form. In fact, I've spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry and make customer service my number one priority. To be treated rudely and thoughtlessly is unacceptable and I will definitely be going to the store now so I can talk to a manager.about this ridiculous situation. Why even have a job if you're just going to be lazy and not do what you're being paid for? Very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust came to shop around. Found a nice denim shirt. When my friend came out of the dressing room she asked what the black streak on my face was - I had no idea what she was talking about until I saw my hands and shirt (photographed) streaked with a thick black ink like goo. When trying to figure it out, I looked at the shirt I was holding and hanger and found the mysterious substance on the hanger. I went to the cashier for help and she just gave me a thin dry paper towel and said āsorry that happened. Itāll be $36.99.ā No customer service at all. I really like the Cascade Station location in Beaverton. We go there frequently but this was not cool and ruined my new off white shirt I was wearing. Any tips on getting this mysterious liquid out of the shirt I was wearing while shopping...
