This was most of my friends first escape room. We picked That 70's Room to keep it easy and fun so I could hopefully ensure their presence in future escape rooms šŸ˜‚ and guess what?! It totally worked! We had just under 30 minutes left when we finished! And of course as soon as we completed our room they all wanted to go back for a more difficult room. It was fun, there were waaayy more lock types and numbers than I'd ever seen in a room. (Cause I've only done two in others, so I have so much to pull from for reference šŸ˜†) There was one whole team member on staff at the time we went and I'm sure she was watching over three active rooms. She was always kind and available if we needed her. She told us all the good things we did and suggested future rooms based on how well we work as a team. Sure, maybe they say that to all the teams, but I still appreciate it and will be happy to return!

We're escape room addicts and try to visit at least one every trip we go on. This was our second escape room on this trip. My wife found Ace of Escape searching Google and the reviews were positive. They were training new staff and they seemed to enjoy working at an escape room and were friendly despite being nervous! We did Mad Medicine as an "Expert" room. The storyline was interesting and the puzzles were pretty hard and we were off to a pretty slow and difficult start. We did gladly accept a few clues given to us when the staff saw us struggling! We managed to successfully complete this room with a 34 seconds to spare! On our next trip to Tucson we'll give them and a different room another try. Great way to spend some time indoors when it's 100+ degrees out!

We loved it so much we came back the next day. Also if you book a room, they give you a 20% discount on your next one! We did the 70's room which brought back lots of nostalgic memories and laughs since my partner was my 11 yr old. Then we did the "Mr. Toad" room which was a bit harder but still fun. The staff was friendly and they gave clues when we asked. Plus they weren't strict on time if we went over, they wanted us to have the best experience possible. I completely recommend a family outing or date night. Extremely fun and the pros are very realistic

Not sure if I would do this again with such a big group. We had 12 people in our group and that just seemed like to many people in the rooms. There is one clue at a time that leads to the next clue, 12 people can't be solving the same clue its to much chaos. I felt like the entire time I was just watching everyone else run around like crazy, in fact I don't think I even helped solve a clue because there were just to many people in the room. Also the other problem I saw was they give you a tablet to use to scan clues and let you know how much time you have. In our group one person was in charge of the tablet which I felt was a waste of his money. He paid to be the tablet holder. When you are holding the tablet you can't necessarily look thru things or solve clues because technically your hands are tied by holding the tablet. If I was to ever do this again I would do it with a smaller group. Maybe would have been more fun if they split the group up and see which group could escape first...

Played ā€œBad Medicineā€ and it was a great room. Puzzles were interesting and unique and nothing was so far out there that it was frustrating. Good props throughout the room, a good mix of stuff that was used in puzzles and stuff that added ambience, but not so much that it felt distracting. An interesting mix of locks, not the same lock over and over again. It’s a very linear room which is what I like. There was a technical issue with one of the props but the staff remedied it pretty quickly and we didn’t feel like it harmed the experience. Out of the 2 escape rooms in Tucson I’ve been to, Ace of Escape was a clear winner and I’ll definitely be back to try their other rooms.

I like that they let you take your photo inside the room, so if you’re thinking about going here you can get a glimpse of the room from posted photos. It isn’t like many escape rooms that post awesome stock photos and then the room turns out...
