This star rating is not based on the restaurant as a whole but on my experience on a specific day. I want it to be known that I love this cafe and I visit regularly. Unfortunately, on September 14th my friend and I went to The Dandelion to get some coffee drinks, and we were very disappointed in the quality of our drinks. My friend ordered an iced chai, and now I am not trying to be rude but that is quite the EASIEST drink to make. It's two ingredients and they both come in store bought containers. I ordered a cinnamon brown sugar latte. It tasted like the expresso had been burnt when it was brewed and after a few minutes I could see all the ingredients separating in my drink. I have never ever had this problem before at this cafe or with any other barista at this cafe. I'm not sure the barista working that day really knows what he is doing. I think management should make sure these new employees know how to make the drinks before they are allowed to serve them...

How many times have I walked by this lovely place and not stopped in? Dandelion Cafe was recommended by Dorothy Yanez, the tour guide for the Presidio San Augustin Mural walking tour. We arrived at Dandelion later in the day when they had sold a lot of their food, but there were still burritos and bakery items available. I was excited when I saw the sign for fresh homemade almond milk, so I ordered an almond milk latte with a splash of cardamon syrup. It was delicious and refreshing after the tour! The inside is charming and it was very cool to see the displays of the artifacts found under the flooring.

Next time I am in the Presidio area, I look forward to stopping by to Dandelion Cafe...

The dirty chai was not good, not sure why, but it was missing something. What was it missing? No clue. Just was not grinding my gears the right way. I got a sandwich which was actually pretty good. It had meat on it, but cannot remember what it was called, but I went back a second time and got a veggie sandwich, which tasted weird, and I got a burrito which tasted bleh. This place is a hit and miss. Super friendly staff. Super cute building. I usually do not leave food or drink when I go out, but multiple times I have here. They are almost there, but the flavors gotta get there first. It was not bland, but it was not great either. This place is just missing something, but has...

First time to Dandelion Cafe & Bakery and I am already coming back! Very quaint place in historic district of Downtown Tucson. Having a Mocha and Coffe Cake Muffin as I am writing this. Muffin is moist inside and crumbly and Krispy on the outside! Love muffins with this texture. Mocha is good....would have liked more Mocha in though. All the other pastries look delish!! Love finding new local places to visit. They serve breakfast sandwiches and burritos and will definitely try on a later visit! Rosa and Coco were outstanding with service! Go in today and visit! Recommend:))
