The Hunt Club — Restaurant in Tulsa

Tonight was amateur comedy night. We arrived a few minutes before seven. The place is long and narrow decorated with animal heads, thus The Hunt Club. The bar is towards the back with booths lining one wall and high tops down the middle. The show was a little late starting so we ventured to the patio to check it out. Let me say this is a pretty cool set up! The level immediately out the door has tables and a stage. Then you can go up a level to another patio deck. Again more tables but instead of a stage it’s a view of the stars and some string lighting. It’s a much more intimate area than the others. Back down we went. The show was decent. Some were funny others were a work in progress. The bar offers all the standard drinks but tonight was Wednesday White Claws for $3! When you approach the bar make sure to look up at the ceiling. While overall it was enjoyable but if you moved outside service lacked, inside service was okay. Food selection for poor for a pub. I give it a 3 based on service only. The band playing was enjoyable the overall atmosphere was great. For me it boiled down to lack of engagement of being able to get a fresh beverage and food selection. Very limited choices and if your not a smoker don't go heavy cigarette smoke in a confined space and that small a child was in the area and peoples non service related animals were in the area makes it a no go. As a man with a service dog I would not take my service animal to this place. Areas to improve staff that moves about and asks about new beverages for you. More pub related choices in food. EDIT: If you support or defend this business, you need to rethink your values. Too many people die every year because of DRUNK drivers and businesses like this are a big part of the problem! I was going to just leave my review and let it be that, but now I feel like MADD should know this place exists. There is VIDEO of everything the 'trolls' are saying. Don't be evil! If you are looking for a place to get drunk with your kid, this is the place for you. They don't usually serve food here but when they do, its in front of a camera, which is kinda weird. The service is so good here they won't even stop serving you when you've had too much. On top of that, they will protect you from anyone who tries to stop you from driving drunk with your child.
