This is a sad day for me because once again, Iām going to be on the hunt for a new nail tech person. Yesterday I was finally able to schedule an appointment with Julie, who by the way is a super talented artist but I had a very bad experience on my year time with her service wise. While getting my nails done in the middle of my nail session, a lady getting a pedicure by someone else, starts having a fit over not liking her pedicure. Next thing I know Julie hops up from doing my nails and runs over to the rescue and before I know it sheās sitting down fixing the ladies pedicure. I was left sitting there with no explanation for at least a good 15 minutes or more watching the lady watch me as the tech that I made an appointment with is fixing her problem. When Julie did return she apologized, but by then I was upset! I had somewhere to be, and I made an appointment for a reason. I knew that I was going to be rushed because her next appointment was going to come in and thatās exactly what happened. While my design still turned out pretty cute a piece of it was missing and I had to go because I had an appointment next that now I was already late for. No discount was even offered for that unprofessionalism. Only my points given that I earned by coming there. I definitely left feeling unvalued and unsure of if I would return. My old nail tech Luxi that moved from my old shop, would have never done that! I really do like the Nail job that was done, but wanted it to feel complete with all of the design, so I called back the next day (which is today), to see if I could stop in (and get the heart that she missed putting on there because she was rushing to her next appointment) and get them popped on. Itās a total of two fingers and a very small heart at the base of the fingernail. When I called, she answered the phone and advised me that she was booked up and too busy to do so. I find that very ironic considering she hopped up without telling me to hold on, or Iāll be back, one second let me help this ladyā¦.nothing at all, to go rescue someone else for at least 10 to 20 minutes! But you canāt fix something you missed because you left me! Thatās crazy!! This is very unprofessional, and was from the very start of the fiasco, and to add insult to injury, she was unwilling to even accommodate me today to fix something she missed. Itās just so sad how people treat others and how customer service is declining, and this service is not a cheap service you pay pretty good money these days compared to what it used to be. Iāve never experienced something like that before with an Nail tech, and hope to never again. Unfortunately, that will be my last time going there.
In response to you⦠we had a conversation when you returned to do my nails, so you speak good English to me. I can understand you well. You couldāve also had your husband phat talk for you if that was the case as he speaks Perfect English. Also I never said I couldnāt come I called YOU to ask if I could pop in to fix something missed due to your rushing in which you stated you were booked up and couldnāt. Thatās not a good response to someone you easily left sitting to help someone else. I know exactly what my total was. Letās not pretend you gave me a discount for my inconvenience lol! So not the case. Your way of helping was saying I had points to use that could bring my balance down and applied them, which means the discount comes from ME coming over time, not because you realize the mistake and unprofessionalism made and wanted to make it right by giving me a discount. That was NOT the case and I still tipped something despite how I was done which I regret. No worries I...
Ā Ā Ā Read more7/20/2019 UPDATE - Iāve been going to Venetian since 2010. I went to Jennifer for years until she moved away. I was super sad because Iām really picky about my nails. Thatās when Kelly started doing my nails regularly. My nails are consistently perfect! Kelly listens to what I want (or goes off of my latest Pinterest inspiration) and provides excellence every time. Super bonus is that Venetian does shellac on TOES!! Alex always works with my husband for his mani/pedis. Heās a lower leg amputee on the right with a limb salvage full of shrapnel and pain on the left and Alex is meticulous in giving him a pain free experience every time! When he was a nail biter she still pushed his cuticles back and did what she could to prevent hang nails. Now that heās stopped biting his nails, Alex gives him a full male manicure complete with arm massage. You can find my husband asleep in the pedicure chair once his services are complete - itās that relaxing! Kelly and Alex are extremely busy technicians but they always take their time and afford the same excellence to each and every client that they work with. If you donāt have time to wait, call and make an appointment with your preferred technician. (I make an appointment 99% of the time) This way, your time with your technician is blocked off in their schedule and you will take priority over walk ins. I normally get traditional acrylics with tips and I can go three (sometimes four) weeks between fills. Yes, theyāre grown out, but they still look brand new. One of the important things to me is a clean salon. Venetian is very clean and sanitary. They have an autoclave to sanitize their equipment and they utilize a new liner in the pedicure bowls for each client. (I used to work in Infectious Disease so cleanliness it at the top of my list for a salon.) I tried the powder dip last night and Iāll be honest - I was worried. Iām not a fan of change but my daughter in law has Kelly do her dip nails and they always look fantastic. Well, I couldnāt be more pleased with how my dip nails turned out! I do a LOT of yard work/brush clearing/manual labor in the summer months on our acreage. I went short with the dip nails (no tips) and the dip is thicker than my traditional acrylics and I LOVE that! I have no doubt that these dip nails will stand up to the punishment that I put them through. If youāre looking for a great salon with great people, go to Venetian and see Alex or Kelly!
10/24/2018 UPDATE - I havenāt been to the salon for a good minute. I went in two days ago and was very impressed. I was greeted right away. There are three employees and all were with clients so I was asked if I had time to wait. (They even offered to set an appointment if I had errands to run.) My errands were done so I decided to wait. I was offered a beverage and was checked on several times during my wait to see if I needed anything. Sam did my nails. Iām super fussy and Sam listened to and fulfilled my requests with regards to nail shape and length. She took her time and was very friendly and sweet to chat with. My nails turned out fantastic! They are exactly the way that I like them. The polish is perfect, as are the shape and length. Iām so pleased with the service that Sam provided and I will be back over and over again. The pricing is great - you absolutely get bang for your buck. If you donāt have time to wait, make an appointment. If you have time to wait, remember that the ladies take their time with each client and when they get to you they will provide you with the same time and attention to detail as they did the person before you. They are definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn August 29th, I brought my friend to your establishment for her birthday, as your salon had been highly recommended to us. We booked full sets and the Spa 4 package. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing for several reasons.
First, during my friendās pedicure, the nail technician made repeated, inappropriate comments about her own sexuality and asked my friend if she enjoyed the way her legs were being rubbed. This was unprofessional and made my friend extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the same technician stated she would not treat my friendās ingrown toenail because āwhen she tries to be nice, customers later complain and request refunds due to infections.ā This comment was concerning, especially as my friend later developed a severe toe infection following the service.
Second, the pricing was unclear and excessive. I was charged a total of $325, which was shocking and inconsistent with the services we received. My manicure was $55, my friendās manicure was $45, and our pedicures were $60 each. Based on those amounts, the total should not have come close to $325. If $105 was charged for the nail designs, that was neither properly explained nor reasonable for what was provided.
Due to the unprofessional behavior, lack of transparency in pricing, and the fact that my friend developed a serious infection as a result of her pedicure, I do not plan to return to your salon. I am requesting clarification of the charges and would appreciate a resolution regarding this...
