Dollar Tree — Attraction in Union City

HORRIBLE! store is messy my older brother face planted on a fliping on box. He came home with me and his friend with a bloody nose and had to be taken to my uncle Ricky to get a checkup and turns out he broke it. When me and bobi walked in i was Wearing cologne which i over sprayed but somehow walking i spelt the kid who sat next to me in freshmen wear who didnt wear deortant. To sum it up it smelt like that one aunties food at the family party which everyone tryna avoid. I saw a stupid child no more than 4 years old and he was getting freaky with one of their plushies. I saw spit go on it and sob. So if your lover got you a bear with a heart from dollar tree on valentines 2024 then i suggest cleaning it. After a few trips in alises i saw the same kid chugging a energy drink and spit it on all the others. Truley horrible and i wanted to throw up. Speaking of throw up. I walked in another day and saw a child around 9 years old throwing up from eatting something on shelf. I hate now that it is 1.25 dollat instead of 1 dollar. I miss going to this place and having to play pac man with boxes and coming out with a big bag of chips that has been tampered with for a dollar but now still playing pac man with boxes around the floors and coming out with a SMALL bag of chips that has been tampered with. Many carts with boxes of cheap toys which can break with a touch of a sumo wrestler, which can really crowd up the place and make you feel like my Pet hamster Sir. FatFuk the thrid, all trapped in a Cage filled with his own feces which in this case being loads of boxes. Very messy. Bringing up abt the freaky 4 year old it looks like if that same plushie and the kid got hot in almost ever aisle. Looks like if the movie twister with all the tornados was flimed in the back of a dollar tree. Most workers treated me like my couch Just that they didnt touch me. Very rude and it hurt my feeling. One of them slapped my hand when holding an ítem while they were scanning because i was tryna read the calories. Fire her pls to get justice for my very clean hand. I handshaked Justin beaver with that hand the Day before and planned to never wash it ever again but now i js have a dirty (like their store) hand that a famous singer touched and a old womens dry and very scary saggy hand on my hand. Overall i hated my experice. I warned Joe Biden about this store and he said he will be looking into it. Yet he also said the prices May go up another 25%. This store needs new management. And if your the Mother of thar 4 year old please tell me he is okay i will pay for his therapy...

(NOTE: To other customers: From what I have seen with my own eyes, If customers didn't allow their teens and small children to run around and constantly toss items wherever, take stuff out of boxes (along with themselves), open and spill items, than I think the store would stay a bit more cleaner and organized. On one of my previous visit, a mother just watched as her upset child open up a bottle on the self and empty it out onto other stuff in the store. The mother just walked away and did nothing, even after I said something to her. Guess what! The kid did it again and still nothing. Guess, she was allowed to stay. If it was Macy/JCPenney, she would have paid for damages and corrected his behavior REAL quick. Sadly you just have some customers that don't really care about helping to keep a really good and cheap beneficial store clean and in business, especially for seniors citizens and people who may have lost their job and need stores like this to exist for survival.)

(Visited again on the evening of 12/12/17.) Anyway, this is a great store! The selection of products for a dollar are fantastic, especially if you are on a very tight budget. So far every single item that require batteries has worked and is still working, so the stuff they carry isn't junk for a dollar. The tight fitting plastic storage containers and kitchenware are great for a dollar. This is the place where I buy all of our stationary because stationary/office supplies are expensive elsewhere, there is the sweetest, kind and extremely helpful sales person there named, "Carmen". She is always fixing that Aisle #5 and knows exactly where everything is located inside Aisle #4(Toys) and #5. No kidding! Every time I've gone there, there she is working very hard straighten up Aisle #5. She seems to always be in! I love seeing her there, because I know no matter how busy she is working, she will stop immediately and help me with her friendly attitude, which saves me time to rush and catch the bus. Carmen and the other older woman with the brown blonde hair who works in Aisle #1, 2 & 3. She had tried to find the missing lid to a red box I needed for a mug. The both of them are kind and extremely helpful. They also deserve these 5 stars. To customers, try your best to help keep these stores...

I need to just say that I had the best customer service here and all provided by a young man who was the cashier on Wednesday October 4th. His name is Tai (pronounced Thai ) Yes it's true this place can be un organized but do you even realize where it's located ? Come on guys let's not act like we aren't aware how inconsiderate people from Union City are. I grew up in Hudson county and people are shameless ( sin vergüenza) . Anyway I had a terrible shopping experience the whole time I felt I was being watched or followed and at first I though it was an undercover security guard but no this was different everywhere I went this man followed me . I finally decided to test something; I pretended to check out and started placing my items on the belt, I then made believe I forgot to get deodorant and the man that I believed was following me around the store was behind me in line , I told the cashier , Tai... I'll be back please take care of the next customer and as I go to back up my cart the man following me removes him self from the line and goes back to shopping. And I stood my ground and went to Tai and told him I think he's following me , I don't really need deodorant I just said that to see if he would also try to leave and Tai truly made me feel better and safer . He told me to check out and he would walk me safely to my car and I can't explain to you how amazingly safe this young man made me feel. I will call tomorrow and speak to his manager because he did just what he said . As he started to ring me up that man came back again and stood behind me in line. Very close to me and staring. Tai realized and told the man to wait right there that he would be back because he just needs to help carry my bags to my car and the man froze and just said oh okay... he must have felt awkward like he wasn't expecting that but I'm glad that Tai ( I really hope I'm spelling his name right) was there and helped me . Truly this is the greatest customer service I've ever received. Thank you to the management here . And mostly thank you Tai I really can't explain how safe you made me feel and I'm grateful to be able to get home to my son especially for his birthday. Thank you to the staff! Thank you again...
