Las Buenas Nuevas — Restaurant in Union City

I went with my kids several times because the food is decent. My daughter and I order exactly the same dish, we even ask the waitress how was made and we both chose the same; after my daughter finish her order she goes to the restroom, waitress comes with 2 different plates; I tell her that's not what we order and she said yes that's it, I wait for my daughter to come back from the bathroom (my daughter is 10) to confirm her order and she stated that we order the same, I call the waitress but she automatically sends the manager...ok? I wanted her because my daughter could tell her that's not what she order, the manager comes with an attitude; I explained the above and he says "well the waitress is not wrong" I said my daughter is not gonna lie; and we both order the same I even ask her how is it made;( the order came with fries)..so he reluctantly says he is going to change it...he bring my order with rice...I point this error and he says..."well...I don't have it like that anymore"....and not just that he adds the tip to my order...we were only 3 people....usually they automatically add the tip when is a big party but because they knew the service was horrible they force the tip on me because they knew peopledon't tip when your waitress is rude....not just that she keep throwing nasty looks at my table to the point that the other waitress start looking and the other customers as well....because it was only $3 tip I didn't tell him anything I wasn't going to let them ruin my evening but they lost a customer and gain bad review and bad reputation because everytime somebody asks me "you peruvian? What place you recommend to eat?" I'll recommend any except this one... you can keep your $3! That's MY respect to the food industry and a lesson to my children to be a better person even when the business isn't!...and BTW they charge for delivery after they advertise "free delivery" and when I ask him about it (in a prior date) he said "is included in the price) when I did the math I told him is not...I don't mind paying for delivery just don't tell me is included..so he change the narrative ans said "is included when I give your total" ....ok but is not the same...I detest when people tried to undermine you like you are some ignorant person that can't do math...all this experience doesn't even deserve 1 start...maybe the...

I finally got to try out this local spot after years of driving by. My entire party was very happy with the food. The portions are crazy big. Food was very tasty and well prepared. The wait staff was extremely helpful with my questions and very nice as well. Sometimes it was a bit difficult to flag someone down for help. The atmosphere and decor is lacking.
