Kekoa Sailing! Visited April 9, 2021 5 Stars, above and beyond crew members, beautiful boat, amazing story, family owned Highly Recommend to schedule sea tours with them! they’re extremely nice crew and operated by a strong force of woman who are hard workers and always on the move and extremely welcoming and friendly !! Had an amazing time with family and friends and was very organized! Highly Recommend that you look into the story behind this ship, it’s unlike no other! The boat was built by 2 brothers whom have a hardship and strong story to tell. This boat is still family operated! 3 stops total of snorkeling and on the last stop we were served a great sandwich option lunch with cookies at the end! There’s a bar on deck that is operated throughout the cruise. The staff is constantly walking around making sure everyone is settled or needs anything and also services drinks to you while you’re seated. Extremely helpful! The snorkeling spots are amazing! you’ll find seas turtles, sting ray, octopus and beautiful coral reefs!! If you have an underwater camera definitely bring one!! There’s also and underwater coral tunnel to swim through! The crew of 3 did an amazing job servicing large group of customers on the boat and there’s plenty of seating, highly recommend to get there ahead of arrival so you can have a spot first in line to get the beanbag chairs!! Crew we had: Markee (Captain), Bella (1st man, also the daughter of the owner/builder of boat), Randi (second mate)

First off, let me say that we have sailed with a couple different outfits on STJ and they have all been enjoyable in their own way. Who doesn't like being out on the water in paradise after all? That said, there is something about Kekoa that continues to mesh with our family of 3 which includes our teenage daughter. After doing an all day sail on Kekoa a couple years ago we decided to try the sunset during our most recent visit. It did not disappoint. So far we are 2 for 2 for excellent experiences on Kekoa! The crew is just fantastic, the vibe is very relaxed and their playlist is particularly on point with our family's vibe. To top it off, Mother Nature cooperated and provided one of the most stunning sunsets I have seen on this island. My only complaint is that time passed too quickly. Looking forward to sailing with Kekoa again on our next visit!

Did the Saint John full day trip today on the Kekoa. The ship and crew were fantastic and everyone joined in the fun. Snorkeling stops were super fun. Food, music, and drinks were excellent as well. All you need to bring is a towel and sun screen. If you're new to snorkeling this trip will still work for you. Just ask questions and they will explain everything. If you just want to sit, drink, listen to the music, and revel in the scenery there's no shame in staying on board for the whole trip. Ship provides very easy entry into the water. We snorkeled three spots with things to see at every stop. Many of the passengers were repeat customers which speaks to the quality of the experience. We would do it again as well. BTW, there's an interesting YouTube on the Kekoa. Search by name to find it.

My husband's birthday was on the day we booked Kekoa and his favorite thing is just like me being out in the ocean, especially on a beautiful boat just like Kekoa. He raced sailboats as a kid and it brings him back to those days. We got recommendations for a bunch of charters but this one jumped out at us and we booked it. The day of, Kekoa came to pick a group of us up and it was such a beauty pulling up. Sully and Grace were absolutely gracious, helpful, and so darn cute, we got more and more excited as we climbed onboard and got our seats. The wonderful thing is those comfy couches right at the front of the boat where we took our seat and began our journey. Captain Jamison gave us very clear instructions on everything and then we headed to a snorkeling spot where there was a ship wreck, very cool sight and beautiful fish. We then got back on where that open bar started, oh my those painkillers...snacks were spread out for us, such a nice surprise. We were taken to Jost Van Dyke where we spent a few hours swimming, and hanging out at the Soggy Dollar. We got back onboard and the party continued! The staff hoola hooped and the guests went right along with them, having so many laughs, and delicious fireball shots were falling right into our mouths lol, oh ok it was Sully! we danced and sang the AMAZING cool beats captain put on. It was an all around vacation/island/boat experience you would dream of having. I just have to say that bathroom was immaculate, the boat all around was, and the safety every second on that charter was bar none, thank you for that captain! The only downfall is it is not long enough! I wanted to come back the next day and do nothing else on our vaca. We are already planning our next one. Please watch their documentary on YouTube called "yeti presents: kekoa" it is their beautiful story. Until...

As a native Virgin Islander, if you are looking for the most tone deaf experience in sailing, this is the sail for you. No interest in supplying patrons with the ability to control any of the vibes on board, all though we are the ones paying for the experience. If you are going to subject the entire sail to music preferences of the staff then sail the staff alone. The usage of a conch shell to denote the leaving of the vessel is honestly abhorrent. If you had even a slight inclination of the historical significance you would understand how incredibly disrespectful that is. Your “captain, boat builder & head of this vessel” comes across condescending to the patrons and tbh down right racially charged, regardless, it’s very much a never again situation for myself as well as my friends. Julia ( crew member) you are a star (literally the extra star was just because of you). Idk why you’re letting this team...
