Never been to a grocery store in my life that didn’t accept credit cards. Spent 2 hours shopping only to find out they don’t accept credit cards. I talked to a manager. They said it’s because they’re employee owned and that’s how they keep cost down. They can charge a fee to the customer for using a credit card. Only after I emptied all my shopping bags did I see the sign posted. I didn’t think to look around for signs because it’s just a damn grocery store, and every grocery store I’ve ever been too in USA or abroad accepts credit cards. Credit cards are a legal form of payment so it makes no sense to me. I’m not giving up the benefit of my credit card points I earn to save a little bit on groceries. I won’t be back.

If the description of your store on Google says you accept credit cards as a form of payment… it’s a pretty shady bait and switch to suddenly say oh we don’t accept credit when someone is at checkout after spending over 30 minutes shopping. What kind of low rent BS is going on where they think that everyone that walks in is gonna have cash or debit card (who CARRIES their DEBIT CARD ON THEM after the age of 20?), this is the year 2025 and some of us are ADULTS. This CHAIN is terrible, bad business practices. Do not go here. If you all don’t wanna pay the credit card fees, just add them to the transaction for customers who use a credit card like small business or every low budget bodega out there.

Great first impression of the new store! Went in one day 1 opening at 8:30 and there were already a lot of people in there. Staff was extremely friendly and obviously the shelves were packed full which was great. Also, they were enforcing masks which is a plus. Didn’t see anybody not wearing a mask here. Recommend this place if you want good prices and good customer service!

WHERE IS THE "NO STAR OPTION" I am flabbergasted. I am a local and shop here at WINCO every other week. Today after having the best morning, it was RUINED BY AN EMPLOYEE @ the food court, TYLER his name is. Tyler had an attitude the moment I asked for a TWO PIECE CHICKEN MEAL. Apart from that when I stated in such a polite manner that I would like the potato wedges as a side and was then given my chicken meal box, I waited for the potato wedges when he then asked me WITH AN ATTITUDE "What Do You Need" excuse me I GASPED. I asked if the potato wedges were inside the box. OKAY. SO FLABBERGASTED that someone who WORKS CUSTOMER SERVICE WOULD EVEN SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER LET ALONE A WOMEN WITH CHILDREN PRESENT with such an ICK ATTITUDE. Such a horrible experience. Let me not even begin with wanting to notify the situation to customer service and no one was able to help me. I walked out so disappointed. I will be notifying corporate to come and review this store!! ANOTHER NOTE, I CAME HOME AND I WAS GIVEN THE WRONG CHICKEN LIKE HOW SNEAKY WAS TYLER TO GIVE ME BBQ BAKED CHICKEN WHEN I CLEARLY SAID CRISPY CHICKEN. SO DISGUSTED. I do not like BBQ so I was so disappointed because of this too. I recommend asking for someone else to handle your food...

I took my wife to winco in Wenatchee. I parked out in the middle of a parking lot with no cars around me. I was approached by a guy that tapped on my window and told me to roll down my window.I told him I would prefer not.. He said this is our parking lot you'll roll down the window if I tell you to. I started my car so that I could drive off if I needed to. I then rolled down my window to ask him why he was hassling me. He said it was because I was sideways in the parking stall. I told him I was out in the middle of the parking lot no one was around me. He told me to leave. Not once did he identify himself as security or working for winco. I did see there were 2 guys behind him that were wearing winco shirts. I did not see them until after he demanded I rolled down the window because it was his parking lot. I followed his instructions left the parking lot And parked across the street. Then then called my wife and asked her to leave everything and come out.. Never going back. I tried to call but...

I was eating food I had purchased here in front of the store in an area where I could socially distance and eat. I was told I only have ten minutes at the store and that it was posted. They then took the cart I was planning to use to cut across the parking lot with all my stuff. I was told I couldn't take the shopping cart with me as it is there's, I told them I would leave it on property. They refused to leave me a cart.since I did not want to be arrested I started packing my stuff up. That took me a little while, and the moving my stuff to the nearest cart corral took even longer. As my stuff was now together it was real easy to move it into a cart. Getting it across the parking lot after that was a real breeze, those carts rock, it's why I'm giving this a two star review rather than a one star review. I quickly unloaded my stuff and left property. Now to find...
