I am an Amazon Fresh delivery driver. Someone in an office building ordered more than ten packages of food and water. Since no one was stationed at the delivery entrance, I had to use the regular entrance and make multiple trips to carry the packages one by one to the elevator. The man on duty downstairs,( wearing dark suits)who spoke Spanish, a little fat and dark ,saw me but did not help. Instead, they told me to park my car back in the regular parking lot and carry the packages by hand one by one to the regular entrance. I told him that I was just going to unload the dozen or so packages from my car and quickly park, then come back to deliver them. He said no, I couldn’t unload anything from the car. He told me to park in the parking lot first and then carry the packages one by one to the entrance. It takes five minutes to walk from the parking lot to the entrance, and delivering these dozen or so packages one by one would take at least 50 minutes. He said it wasn’t his problem..I just delivery to office (west tower RW1050 )he said it wasn’t their responsibility. He is pretty unfriendly and discriminatory. He said I was not allowed to unload, otherwise he would let someone issue me a ticket immediately. This incident happened at 9 a.m. on October 22, 2024. I wasted 50 minutes here. I asked the person if I couldn’t unload here, could he lend me a handcart so I could transport all the packages from the parking lot to the regular entrance. He said no, that it wasn’t his job, and told me to leave immediately. He also threatened to issue me a ticket if I didn’t leave. I also suggest that the relevant management fire this person. He was rude, showed signs of racial discrimination, and lacked professionalism. I advise all delivery drivers to avoid delivering to this location. I advise anyone planning to rent an office here not to do so, because we won’t be delivering packages to you. The property management is terrible and disrespectful to delivery drivers, so we won’t be delivering any packages for you. Attached is the usual weight and quantity of the packages we deliver. The number of packages delivered that day was twice the amount shown in the picture. This is for your reference, so you can get a sense of the professionalism of the property management and the quality of this...
Read moreWhat a great work environment! I’ve been a member for almost 5 years, so I’ve seen the fluctuations in membership and periods of relative emptiness during the peak pandemic. Thankfully, it’s back to a state of higher energy and good social vibes.
Regardless of what phase it’s in, the staff have always been fantastic! Everyone is very accommodating and friendly - from the Community Leads at the front desk, to the cleaning and facility staff who keep this place tidy, fresh, and pleasant to be inside during the work day. It’s truly a great community of people, and it fosters a positive work environment.
I have a single-desk private office. I appreciate the ample natural light and stunning views afforded by the all-glass layout; however, this is a double edged sword, as your privacy is sacrificed and noises seem to echo more. So, the glass is my one primary criticism. However, it should be noted that WeWork offers a partial frosting of the glass if you want more privacy.
I love the location though! Situated primarily on the 7th & 8th floors inside the Red Building of the Pacific Design Center, the vibe is very modern and fascinating... a very visually stimulating place. The recently renovated West Hollywood Park is just right across the street and for a smaller park, it’s world-class. A short walk from there is Santa Monica Blvd., with plenty of food and drink establishments… great for a much needed lunch break!
Overall, I highly recommend considering this WeWork location if you’re looking for an affordable and welcoming co-work space or simply somewhere to impress a client or have a meeting with killer views...
Read moreI wrote an initial review (see below). However, I'd like to be more clear. I think the views are spectacular, but the way that the location is run has much to be desired as it is not small business friendly. If you have a real issue, don't go to the front desk, because they have zero authority to resolve anything. If there is an issue with wifi or a printer is down, the team expresses sympathy, but has no answers regarding resolution (timing or approach) For urgent issues, you may have to engage with the support team by logging an email and hopefully, they get back to you within 24 hours. For example, I had an urgent issue and called to resolve as well. The person on the phone said "rest assured" that we will take care of this within 2 hours. You can expect a phone call from us. No phone call and the issue ended up causing more downstream issues. -I had a former employee call about my mail and the team not only didn't communicate that to me and ask for me to reach out, they exposed my company to legal risk by sending a picture of an envelop to the former employee
But to be fair, the views are nice and the offices are two blocks from my house. If you expect to have top notch customer service or people that care about making sure your business has what it needs to be successful, this may not be the best place.
Over the three years that I have been a member, I am constantly feeling like I don't matter and the company doesn't care about my business. I'm only here because it's convenient to where I live. They could care...
