My experience at the marketplace was wonderful until I went to Lazy Dog Café for dinner. Can someone please explain to me why they hire the rudest hostesses there? They basically told us that unless we would sit in the bar where I don’t like to sit because I don’t drink and I don’t like the atmosphere that we would have to wait at 15 minutes to be seated until they had someone who could serve us. So I went back out to the car and called the manager, Mike. I told him how it felt to be talked down to by the hostesses and to basically be told they want us as customers. He pretended to care, but when we went back into the restaurant to meet him at the desk, he barely looked at us. He never came to talk to us about our experience. He walked by us several times and completely ignored us. Not what I really expect from a manager. Once again, the server, a man made up for the terrible people we had encountered at first. I wanted the bison, meatloaf, and it was served with hardly any potatoes a small piece of spinach and it was cold. I didn’t bother complaining to the waiter, but I can assure you this was my last visit to this restaurant. For $25 a plate, they should be doing a better job at Customer Service. It appears that all they care about is filling up the bar with people who drink to make their money and Mike needs to be retrained. There wasn’t a smile to be had except for the waiters. No wonder they can’t find people there to serve. What a smile and a welcoming attitude could do...

The AMC is there. And I suppose Marcos Pizza gave me 2 free slices on their opening day. But security once got on my case for riding my Bike and playing Pokemon Go. It was 1 on a Tuesday. The place was more deserted than 24 fitness at 3 in the morning. But noooo, I was some kind of potential hazard to the 4 other people there? The pokestops didn't have anything so it was a waste of time anyways. They never have anything, just that one Kabuto I found there on like day 5 of the game, and after that, nothing. There's a cute kids train that drives around the mall, which is pretty neat. Terrible...
Read moreThe Orchard has everything you need. Great place for a date, for family activities, and for solo "retail therapy" :) Nice restaurants, excellent major retailers and fun concerts and events year-round. It's very walkable and doesn't feel like a mall, it's more like a Disneyland of retail. I'm from L.A. and would compare it to The Grove in the 3rd & Fairfax area. Stop and enjoy the outdoor fireplaces! It's a pretty magical place at the Holiday Season as well, with beautiful Christmas trees and decorations, not to mention a lovely Hannukah display. The property is clean and well-managed, and there are increasingly more local businesses in the center, which is nice to see. My only complaint is that the streets are a bit narrow and very circuitous, which is really annoying. I feel like I'm gong in circles if I drive around too much. Certain shops can also be difficult to find because of that. That said, there's ample parking. ...
