If there was a zero star I would have chosen instead. My husband took my inherited antique Movado watch to get a new battery back in September 2020. After 1 month, the battery stopped working. We took it back to this store and told by the owner he would need to keep the watch and look into what the issue was. He did not call and get approval to order parts but when we called in November to inquire about it he said parts were not here yet and it would cost $500 to repair which he did not even first ask if this was approved to do. We called again in December and same story, waiting on parts. Stopped into the store in January 2021 and he claims that new parts were installed but still waiting on 1 more part due any day. Called first week of February and said he had part and would work on it “today”. Called a week later and he said same thing. Called last week of February, he said watch not ready and again said he would work on “today”. I told him I was picking the watch up on Friday whether watch was fixed or not. My husband walked into store to pick up watch, it still was not fixed, owner was very belligerent and admitted no parts have even been installed and proceeded to dump all our inner parts and let scatter all over counter and floor and made him leave his store. My husband said he wasn’t leaving without the watch. Situation escalated and my husband left store (owner locked door behind him). My husband stood in the parking lot for 30 minutes and called police. During this time, owners wife returned to the store and came outside to try and rectify the issue. During this time, store owner put the watch back together and finally we left with the watch still not repaired. Owner deceived us and kept leading us to believe progress was being made when in fact nothing was being done. Note to self: find a reputable jeweler to repair...

We moved here to Wichita in July. Since moving here it had come time to find a place to take my husbands many watches to get batteries put in. We had always gone to a jeweler but when looking here my husband decided to go here because they had good reviews. I didn’t like the guy feeling I had when we walked up. The lady stared at us through the window like we were trash until we were finally buzzed in and then when we walked in she still was anything but friendly. She took my husbands watchs and went to work on them. There was a man in there (I assume the owner or manager) and I was trying to ask him about some permanent jewelry as I saw they did that on their website. I was wanting to get another bracelet. He was very short with me and acted like he had no time to talk to me. I felt like they truly thought we had no money to spend when in fact we were there to spend money. But since we were treated like we were less than dirt we will not be taking business back there. Maybe the employees should realize that some costumers actually have money to spend and want to spend money, despite what they look like and actually should give them the time of day instead of running around worrying about bragging your in a local magazine. All we could say was WOW! Sparkle did amazing! Me and my fiancé bought my vintage wedding set at a local pawn where we are from! The ring was way to small but we fell in love with it. It was a size 7 and I was a 9/12. Being a military family we were at McConnell Air Force Base and I was browsing for jewelry shops to resize my ring. Taken mind like I also said we were military family and had recently been in San Antonio I looked all over the place for somewhere in San Antonio to fix my ring but everybody said they weren’t able to fix it because I didn’t know what kind of metal it was and were not willing to test it. I looked up sparkle jewelry here in Wichita and gave them a call. The employees there told me to bring it in and they would look at it. We walked in and was greeted instantly they looked at my ring and said absolutely we can test it and resize it within a few days. I was very shocked when hearing this because the circumstances before. My ring was done in two days and it is absolutely beautiful.
