Blush Couture — Attraction in Winston-Salem

Ok here we go!! To start with I am going on my first cruise and wanted to treat myself to some nice cocktail dresses that made me feel confident. I did not exactly know what I was looking for or what dress style would look great with my body shape. I went to one bridal shop and the staff there were polite but they just didn’t have a dress to fit my needs. I then went to the mall in concord mills and went to Camille La Vie and it was terrible. I was never greeted and so I picked two dresses to try on and waited by the dressing rooms for about ten minutes while conversing with another customer and then my partner went and found an associate and ask for assistance and she told him someone would be right there. We waited 20 minutes and then left. So I was a bit hesitant when I continued to dress shop. We came here and as soon as I entered Sandy greeted us and ask if she could help. I explained I didn’t really know what I was looking for but I was going to browse. She said great if you need anything please let me know. I found a couple dresses and tried them on. She helped with the zipper and one dress was perfect but the other not so much. I then met Romeo who marked my dress for alterations. I expressed I was looking for one more dress… let me tell you!!!! That MAN looked at me and went walking… went to a mannequin took the dress off and I tried it on. Perfect color! Perfect fit (besides the length because I am a bit short) and I looked and felt amazing! Sandy found shoes that I could walk in on a ship that fit both dresses. I will give them all of my business when it comes to this shop. Oh and to add Romeo also helped my man find a tux and hat with shoes and bow ties that matched me perfectly. They are both a God send and literally saved the day with our attire and my anxiety level. I cannot thank you...

I would give a 0 if possible. I’m grateful for the low class service that we received here because I was able to purchase the dress my daughter wanted for a substantially lower price and spend my money with a vendor who actually made me feel like a valued customer. Me and my daughter weren’t greeted or welcomed upon entering the store. We were sized up and followed around like we came to steal.

My daughter wanted to try on some dresses, she decided on one dress that she loved. I encouraged her to go to a few more stores to be sure. That dress was the one for her so we came back to that store within 30 minutes if that long and a $200-$300 dress was now priced at $600.

I saw a look of sheer disappointment come across my daughter’s face and I almost paid the price. But then I looked at the smug, ignorant look on the store clerk’s face like he was enjoying this moment and truly felt like I couldn’t afford the dress and my heart told me to spend my hard earned money some where else.

Luckily I took a picture of her in the dress when she tried it on. I uploaded it into Google Images (my bff) and we found the exact same dress online with another vendor for the fair price of $250, stellar communications and customer service and the dress arrived in a weeks time with thank you cards in the box.

The poor treatment we received here was a blessing in disguise. It’s sad because last year I was righting a totally different review for the stellar service we received at...

Do NOT buy from this place. We bought 2 custom dresses with shoes totaling around $2100.00. After waiting 10 weeks for the dresses to arrive, we came back to try them on. We were the told we would have to pay alteration fees. FOR DRESSES THAT THEY MEASURED. We requested one small change that I was absolutely willing to pay for. However, after only one dress was rang up, the alteration total was $189. I can only imagine the total for both dresses would be at least $350 if not more. These fees were not reasonably disclosed to us when we bought the dresses. I'm sorry I didn't read the receipt thoroughly. I assumed everything was paid for and measurements would be stood behind. I will gladly pay double for another company to do these alterations. I had plenty more money to spend in this store, but it will definitely be going elsewhere. Thanks for nothing Blush Couture. Way to take advantage of people.

Edit - The additional fees were not explained at the time of purchase. The additional fees were only brought up after trying on the dresses. I was asked, "Do you want a receipt for the alterations?" That was the first time I was told of an additional charge. It's not like it's a few dollars. It's hundreds of dollars extra.
