I have been a regular TJmax customer for years now. But today, I was appalled. I visited the TJMax store with my 3 year old who happened to be excited in the toys section. She happened to brush against one of the dolls, which fell down. I was in the other isle looking at other stuff. To my chagrin, the manager quickly pounced on my daughter asking her to pick the doll up and put it back as she had just arranged the isle and could āuse some helpā and that she could only see the doll if she puts it back. This scared the hell out of my 3 year old, who left the doll right there and hid behind me and demanded we leave the store immediately. Her name was Joanne, the manager if i read it correctly. I left immediately not wanting to create a scene in the store. She may be short staffed or having a bad day but it is unacceptable to pass that on to others especially a 3 year old child. She gets paid for her job, she didn't do me a favor if she had arranged the store. i refuse to accept this behavior and want strict action to be taken. This is a 3 year old she humiliated. This is not the first time. Never going to that store till she is there.
This is the tall lady with short hair. She is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt is NEVER okay for a store employee to put their hands on a customer! My partner and I walked in the "wrong direction" by mistake and an associate named DONNA jumped in front of us, grabbed our arms and pushed us out of the store while telling us we "had to leave". I did not see a sign, and I would have most certainly obliged if she had been polite. It was absolutely unnecessary and unprofessional in EVERY WAY for her to have grabbed us. This could transition to a dangerous situation with the wrong person. NEVER use physical force for something like this. I have never in my life had an altercation with anyone, especially a store employee-- her actions were extremely unprofessional and dangerous. It is absolutely insane to me to be treated that way for something so trivial. Ill never forget that experience. It was awful and I was mortified. I do appreciate Ms. Teresa taking the time to contact me personally to address this issue. Thank you for acknowledging the situation and the severity...
