Pesto Cafe Osteria — Restaurant in Yerevan

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. The staff were unprofessional and the food quality was far below expectations. I ordered the tomato soup, which is normally creamy, but what I received was so thick that the spoon stood straight in the bowl. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she went to the kitchen and returned after about 10 minutes, only to say that this is how they usually prepare it. Having dined here before, I know that is not the case, yet no solution or alternative was offered. To make matters worse, when I asked for the bill, the soup was still included despite my complaint. Overall, both the service and food were disappointing. There are much better restaurants to try on...

I recently visited Pesto Cafe in Yerevan and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very welcoming, professional, and quick to serve. I didn’t have to wait long for my food. I asked to have my coffee served before the main dishes, and the waiter remembered which I really appreciated. I ordered a steak salad, and the meat was incredibly tasty and tender. Another nice detail is that they repeat the order back to you, so there’s no chance of a mistake. 👍🏼The atmosphere is very pleasant, with a charming little fountain inside, clean and tidy surroundings, and calming color tones. It’s clear that the whole team works with care and quality.

Very nice place from the outside, but the kitchen leaves much to be desired. We ordered ravioli with spinach, because of the pesto sauce it was impossible to eat them(( We returned it to the waiter and told him about the taste, no one came up, apologized or offered a replacement. Minus to the manager. The seafood soup is also a three, the shrimps are tough( The expectation turned out to be reality, unfortunately, the dishes were prepared carelessly.
