What a lovely spot in the valley, just a walk’s distance away from James st. The perfect brunch spot to catch up over coffee or sweet lattes (they have taro, matcha and black sesame) and a large selection of sweets and savouries.
I enjoyed my matcha w strawberry milk and also found that the mixture of black sesame with coffee was surprisingly really nice! Our favourite was the egg sando it was moist, fluffy and not too salty/sweet- it was perfect! Only thing is it’s hella big so share it with a friend and get a dessert on the side too. I liked the mustard sauce they put on top, the egg is super mild so it adds a small zing which was nice.
I also really liked the bulgogi sando, it’s very balanced and umami but also hella big so great for one person if starving or likewise share it w a mate and get dessert on the side.
The brown cheese croissant was yummy, very mild in flavour not too sweet which was good. We couldn’t work out what brown cheese was but it goes well and is mellowed out by their cream.
Service was lovely and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Will definitely be back to eat more egg Sandos- sooo delicious! Also need to come back to tap into the many other desserts on offer, they have a massive kitchen which you can see the lovely staff put heavily into use to make a large assortment of sweets.
Ps to the Jacorey team if you see this, I will die happy if you can bring into your assortment the round cream cheese garlic...

My friends and I started with the Iced Brown Sugar Cream w/ Expresso. Very mood, most demure. I actually stared at mine in disbelief and wonder. Then I delicately poured in the expresso from its teeny, tiny milk-style jug. And took to that with a teaspoon. A taste. A transport to wonder. Holy wow.
The sando came out about 5 minutes later. Time was moot while I was spooning that coffee. It was disorienting because in never eaten here before nor have I eaten a sando before. Disorienting yet delightful because there seemed to be too much sando. Two? My brain thought. No, yes, both. Generous ingredients, fresh and colourful. I got the Ham Cheese Salami. It was lightly toasted thick bread with many ingredients thickly neat exquisitely layered therein. My mate got the Teriyaki and my other mate got the Bulgogi. I finished mine first. My mate kept his in the wrapping. I took mine out. It is a delicate balance to hold it firmly yet retain its shape. I ate my first half eagerly yet as slowly as possible.
I hope I never forget this sando. Or maybe I'll just have to remember enough to keep coming back. May be tricky as I live...

I've been twice so far and would love to go again to try things I haven't had a chance. I highly recommend the Almond Creme Coffee Scone, it's so so so good. I don't normally like Matcha, but they have an Iced Matcha Creme Strawberry Latte that looked SOOOOOO pretty that I had to try it and the combo was actually pretty nice. Try it if you're not sure on matcha, it might change your mind.
A whole bunch of brownies and cheesecake flavours are on display in the cabinet. The black sesame brownie was probably my favourite 🥰
Lastly, if you hear Korean, you think Bulgolgi and this Cafe does not disappoint. They have this Bulgolgi Sandwich that is MASSIVE but to bite into it was like a cloud. Like so good. So fresh and flavourful. 10/10 would recommend.
If you're ever in the valley, please go check them out! You won't regret. The service is friendly and the food...
