Schnitz West End Plaza — Restaurant in New South Wales

This is my third instance today after i ordered went to the store to pick up and shocked that while cooking happening an employee stand on the food prep bench and cleaning the rangehood with chemical while the fryer is running and also crossed to the other side over the fryer with his shoes on which is discusting not ethical and not safe for the staff itself. Complained this to the front staff which she replied me he is doing only while cooking is finished, i showed her the fryer is running then she went to speak with another woman i think may be a manager or assistant manager after that she didn't take it seriously and the body language of her was i don't care attitude. The previous lady i told earlier i think she informed to the person he gave me look and crossed again the fryer and kept his work. This is the third time am seeing their unhygenic behaviour one day i saw an employee took a dirty cloth with his thongs and pick up a schnitzel with that same thong. on another instance one employee handle the broom with bare hand then handle the food without washing his hand. Used to be regular here won't come to this discusting...

Used to love this place, and we would eat here every weekend for lunch. Came to the venue tonight for a late night dinner with my partner, we entered without being greeted by anyone and we were shocked to hear music blasting from the kitchen. There was already music playing over the speaker in the seating area, however, the kitchen staff had a speaker, blasting their own music on top of this at full volume. Most of the music was inappropriate, with loud and obvious profanity, the rest being very sad and emotional songs. Neither of which are appropriate for the workplace/dining environment.

The staff tonight all seemed very young, playing around with each other, loudly laughing and carrying on. This behaviour is incredibly unprofessional, regardless of the time and the closeness to the end of kitchen hours (8:30pm, when the kitchen closes at 9:35pm)

Really disappointing experience from a place we used to love so much. We decided to leave before finishing our meals as the volume of the music was getting out of hand. Will not be likely to return...

Went here with a friend to grab lunch. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. Worth the price

I usually get the same thing every time I go to Schnitz, which is the loaded schnitzel and fries. It also happens to be one of the more expensive meals they offer, but it was always worth it because it tastes so good.

However, the last three times I have gone, the serving size seems to be about half of what it used to be. The schnitzel is absolutely tiny, and there are only a small number of chips around it. It used to be that I would struggle to get through the whole thing because it was very large, but now it doesn’t fill me up at all. Weirdly enough, the cheaper schnitzel meals actually come with more food, so it has become a running joke with my friends that I get ripped off despite paying the most for my meal every time.

I am not against shrinking the meal a little bit, but it should be somewhere between what it used to be and what it is now. But for the time being, I have changed my review from 5...
