Numa Salzburg Sonate — Hotel in Salzburg

I will write here what I wish I knew before booking Sonate: -the place is absolutely beautiful, amazing taste in decoration and the location is really the best. Easy check in.

BUT

the heat is unbearable ! There is no AC and the flat goes up to 30 degrees inside. My 8months old baby struggled sleeping a lot. As did I. Big curtains don’t help. We would have loved to open the windows but the flat faces a big busy street and the ambulances, honking cars, speeding cars made it even more difficult to bear. Day and night. There is a kebab place right under the flat, opened until 5am. People are very loud all night especially on the weekends. Also the smell of it is just too much. We did not rest at all in this flat, my baby was very nervous all the time as he didn’t sleep well and was too hot. He kept being woken up from his naps by cars and ambulances. We spent the entire days and evening walking around. Better be outside with 30 degrees than inside with 30degrees. I am an opera singer and had a concert at the festival. I thought by choosing NUMA I was gonna be able to rest but we are actually leaving exhausted from our 3 days stay… Unless they put AC and change the windows, we won’t be coming back to...

AMAZING LOCATION! Huge apartment, phenomenal view from the terrace and a large bedroom with a comfy bed. ||All the amenities you could need - washing machine, fridge, stove top etc. ||Very easy to find, easy access to the Altstadt, buses/tram etc I would definitely stay again!||Note that unit 301 is up 3 flights of narrow, winding stairs. The set up of the apartment is unusual - at the top of the stairs is the kitchen, bathroom and toilet, then through another door is the bedroom, sunroom and terrace. It is not a problem but some may be uncomfortable with exiting the bedroom to the open area to go to the bathroom and toilet (the stairs are only accessible by that room but you can see down all the way to the bottom floor, this also makes it super chilly in the toilet for example) ||The other two apartments seem to be completely private (ie the whole apartments are behind...
