Alpz gelato & cafe — Restaurant in Salzburg

I was here today and I wont recommend it to be honest.

Before I write the review I checked how they replied to negative feedback and It is super unprofessional with a lot of typos! claiming that people with fake accounts are after them and they will track their IP......

So here is my review anyway.

The Ice is very average, nothing special at all, especially for the money.

All the types tasted the same as if they had the same base of icecream and they just added colors and artificial flavors.

When I went downstairs to visit the restroom I was shocked that the door to the production was open to everyone, and I could see the cheap syrup bottles.

We got ignored for almost an hour, the young team seemed to have cared more about their phones and who was sitting outside and did not really care about who was inside. They would just chat the whole time and laugh around.

Anyway that was my experience today and I hope they would write a reasonable and professional response and not an emotional one with a lot of typos. Because as a customer I really do not care how your day was when you...

What a joke of a coffee shop. Imagine spending money on crepes, waffles, and coffees, only to be told you can’t taste the ice cream before buying it. Seriously? We’re paying customers, But fine—we ordered the ice cream without tasting, and surprise, surprise…it was terrible.

The coffee tasted like it came from a gas station, the crepe was bland and forgettable, and the chocolate syrup was the cheapest, fake-tasting kind you can buy in bulk. The vanilla ice cream was as average as it gets—if you can even call it that. The only thing remotely decent was the waffle, and let’s be honest, it’s hard to mess up a waffle.

Overall, this place hides behind silly “rules” while serving below-average food and pretending it’s something special. Do yourself a favor and skip it. There are plenty of spots nearby that actually understand what customer service—and good...

This place was The best possible option i could’ve chosen to go out to with my kids. The gelato was the best thing i have tasted in Austria so far. The food could not have been better. I come from the US so its hard to top the scrumptious fluffy waffles they have there, but somehow Alpz gelato & cafe managed to do so. The service was impeccable!!! The second we were done looking at the menu a really kind server came to take our order. She was so kind and great with my children, it was so refreshing to see such a young person so capable. Once we were done ordering it didn’t take long before our gelato and waffles arrived. The atmosphere was perfect for my children. They had such a good time in your cafe and i did too. It was the best place i could’ve chosen to go to for a refreshing ice cream. I thank you so much for the heart warming welcome you gave me...
