TavaDa Restaurant — Restaurant in Baku City

We went to the restaurant for breakfast. The place and atmosphere is cool. However we were 3 people and we found out breakfast for 2 people is too big and even 3 people can eat fully. So we decided to order for 2, but staff came to our table so many times and asked that we should order something else for 3rd person. It was ridiculous. Then we ordered additional food even though it was unnecessary. They brought the breakfast but didn’t bring main part of the breakfast. Eggs with tomato and eggs with sausage. After we become full we asked AFTER THAN THAT they brought the main part of the breakfast. Then we asked for payment, we saw they included the service fee (for what?) then when they brought the rest of the money after payment they didn’t give the whole money back. So I didn’t tip them either. It’s just sad to see this kind of people working like that and don’t know simple ethics. Probably we were not Arabs, that’s why they were rude to us....

We had breakfast today at Tavada Restaurant on Nizami Street and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The quantity of the breakfast was surprisingly generous – more than enough for four people, which made it great value for money. The quality of the food was good and satisfying.

One of the highlights was the unlimited tea and fresh bread, which kept coming without even needing to ask – a nice touch of hospitality. However, the omelet was served quite late, which slightly disrupted the flow of the meal. Another downside was that they did not offer to pack the leftover food, which would have been appreciated considering the large portions.

The ambiance was comfortable and the staff was generally polite, but service could be improved with better coordination and attention to guest needs. Still, a good option for a hearty breakfast on...

Negatives: For halloween, me and my wife desided to try their restaurant. First of all, the kebob that we wanted was out of stock, so we ordered steak and the waiter pushed a salad onto us without telling us that it is extra. We also told the waiter we wanted juice and he tried to get us the one for 8 azn, after checking the price with him, we confirmed that it is the one for 2.5 azn. Also, in the promo page, they wrote that there will be a "gift", after checking with the workers they told us there will be no gifts. Price is high, but it's fine for the city centre, but the service wasn't...
