Very Bad Service, Racist Experience indeed. I came here alone on Monday night. No crowd, the place was not full. I sat in the middle of the restaurant. However, It took a long while to get someone to pay attention to me and get my order. I wanted to order Shakh Plov , which the waiter#1 said it will take 30 minutes. I said yes I can wait. I also ordered one soup and one bottle of water.
25 minutes gone by without anyone bringing me anything… No Water, No Soup, NOTHING.
and then almost 30 minutes, another waiter (#2) came and informed me that my order wasn’t registered in the system. And my food was not coming.
Then he was trying to do small talks to me and asked about my personal life “where are you from? You must be from the Philippines? You must be living in Dubai?! Bla bla. Etc” which was not appropriate at all.
I had to order something else because I was so hungry and couldn’t wait anymore 30 minutes, and of course the food was served without utensils! And I had to wait until someone paid attention to me (again).
Clearly this meal is NOT a happy meal at all!
Later then the waiter#2 came and apologized with the absolute worst possible way. He said the staffs are overworked during “Ramadan”, they’re so tired, so they made a mistake. By the way, today is one week after Eid, Ramadan was way over. So blaming Ramadan is not a reasonable excuse! Moreover, I saw your staffs are doing a good service to all other clients around me. But your staffs refuse to provide the service to me. This is an absolute Racism. I said to the waiter #2 that the waiter#1 should be the one who apologized to me. And then he came and said it like a robot. No regret at all.
I came here to be your client, to have a good meal and good experience from your restaurant. I dressed appropriately, I ordered normal food, I didn’t ask any special treatment, and I did not ask for free food or free service at all.
Please educate your staffs about racism. It’s not an acceptable behavior anywhere in the...
Read moreMy wife and I came across this restaurant today and found they have an all you can eat buffet with juices, tea, and coffee for only 25 Minat (about 14.70 USD) each. We found there was a huge variety of food and it was all moist and fresh. I saw them replenishing it frequently too. It was a great deal. We also found all the waiters spoke English very well, and were very friendly and polite. You can either eat outside or near the open patio doors, or, further inside with AC (by the desserts display).
One thing I was worried about was if they accepted U.S. credit cards, as we have this problem elsewhere in Baku. A smart waiter offered to test my credit card with a 1 cent charge. It was approved, so we ate and had no problem paying with our American Visa credit card later.
We also thought the washrooms were very clean and upscale. If we ever return to Baku we will definitely...
Read moreThe restaurant is spacious and elegantly designed, creating a cozy atmosphere. The service was fast, friendly and professional. The avocado salad was enjoyable, though it could benefit from a few additional ingredients. We also tried the mini burgers and steak with tagliatelle, both of which were quite good. However, the highlight of our meal was definitely the chocolate fondant; it was absolutely delicious. The prices are a bit high. The service fee was 15% which is above what other restaurants charge. Additionally, the waiter requested a tip, even though the service fee was already included. He mentioned that it was for the bar and kitchen staff, which seemed a bit...
