The hosts are very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast delicious and I loved that it was in a residential neighborhood but still a short walk from Clifton Hill. I stayed there for two weeks and felt right at home. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Fun to share about the breakfast, it is prepared for you on a plate (not buffet) but if you have any wishes they will do everything possible to accommodate. I tasted their delicious homemade spring rolls, I would have had more I just can't because of my own personal digestive issues. They were very understanding and the next days I would have substitutes for the things I wasn't able to eat. I like different drinks with different foods, like milk with pastries, water with the food and finish with juice. And I got all of those 3 drinks for breakfast after I had asked for them. There was always toast along with what was prepared on the plate, and butter and strawberry jam available in little packets. They would also always come and ask if there would be anything else I'd need, making sure I was happy with my breakfast. That is only one example of how they went above and beyond, I could easily go on and on. I stayed at this bed and breakfast and a couple of airbnb's during my trip to Canada, and Susan's Villa was by far...
Read moreWe stayed for 2 nights when visiting Niagara Falls, and had a very pleasant stay. The house is clean, tidy, and friendly. ||We had a suite, if you like, with two bedrooms and a bathroom behind our own lockable door on the ground floor. Our rooms and most importantly beds were comfortable and warm, and the house was quiet at night, after the sightseeing helicopters finish work. ||The falls themselves, and the brash resort around them, are within a 10 minute walk of the front door. A taxi from the railway or bus station (they are adjacent) cost $10 including a tip, so the situation is excellent. It would probably take 30 to 40 minutes to walk without luggage.||Breakfast was nice - pancakes, scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon cooked in it, with toast and lots of fresh coffee. Both mornings, we shared the table with another couple we didn't know. This was not compulsory, and was fun.||The house rules are no smoking and no shoes, both of which suited us.||I would much rather stay here than in one of the hotels in the resort. Thank you for a...
Read moreAlice & Jacky welcomed us with open arms, made sure we were always comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious & varied. Our 1 bed apartment upstairs was very spacious, warm & the bed luxurious. Your apartments are just a short walk away from the Falls which we did every day we were there. Highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Niagara Falls. For travellers from the other side of the world (Australia) who didnât know what to expect on our 1st visit to Canada, your hospitality, enthusiasm & friendliness has had a lasting impression on us. We will be back & wouldnât stay anywhere else. Thank you also for organising our private transfer from Toronto which was definitely the best idea since we had such a long day of travel from Australia. Keep doing what you are doing there is nothing to improve. In fact, others in the industry could learn a lot from you. We wish you both all the very best and look forward to another stay with you next time. Lyn and Terry Levick Stanthorpe Queensland Australia....
