Stayed here labour day weekend. Check-in is 3pm however they were NOT ready. Multiple people were sat around waiting for their rooms in the lobby, we didn't get into ours until 3:45 and in the end they didn't even give us the room we were supposed to be assigned to so clearly it still wasn't ready. No daily servicing of the room I assume because of covid still, however I can't help but think this plays into their inability to have the rooms ready on time. No apologies from the staff no offer of anything as compensation. . Despite saying card wouldn't be charged for the deposit I was in fact charged for deposit. This was late refunded but that's quite besides the point they very clearly say the card will not be charged. Rooms are quite dated but pretty spacious and comfortable. Balcony was spacious with view of the river, you could see the American falls if you leaned over the balcony a bit. Chaira on the balcony were absolutely filthy, not of spiders and masaive spider webs on the balcony. Didn't use the pool amenities so can't comment, they were open though. Only one ice machine was working luckily we were only one floor away. We asked for a late checkout they could only offer us one hour, night staff was either new or unknowledgeable cuz it was quite a back and forth about this. They don't have a stabdard practice for holding luggage after checkout and seems up to the whims of whoever is working the front desk, the lobby is pretty big they would do well to add a small luggage room for luggage before check-in and after checkout. In the end we paid $30 to get a late checkout of 3pm. In my opinion they should have offered us that late checkout for free given that they were not ready for us to check in when we got there and it's unlikely that they needed that specific room anyway as it was a holiday Monday and I doubt they were having as many check in as check outs. This was definitely a chance for them to redeem themselves for earlier missteps. They offer breakfast for additional cost, we did not partake so can't speak to the quality. They could have offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience of not being ready for check-in which they also chose not to do another missed customer service opportunity. There is a southbound we go stop next door at bird kigdom which is great if you are coming in by bus but no north bound we go stop which was annoying when leaving. Overall it was fine, I would stay here again if I found another good priceline deal but would never be my first choice at regular pricing.

If you are looking for an upscale, updated, new, fresh, clean, 5-star hotel, this is NOT the hotel for you. If you are looking for a beautiful view, close to all attractions, on a budget, and don’t have high expectations, this is the hotel for you. The hotel is outdated and rundown. Has a weird old smell throughout the building. The rugs are retro and dirty. Walking barefoot in our room grossed me out. They say no smoking but my balcony was covered in cigarette butts & joint roaches when we arrived. We would smell marijuana constantly just sitting on our balcony but at least we never smelled it in our rooms or the building. There is no maid services. We had to make trips to the desk to ask for everything we needed. (Towels, toilet paper, tissues, cups, etc.) Parking is super scarce, especially at night when tourist use the hotel parking as a paid parking. We were charged $15 a night to use their parking lot. One night we were almost unable to find a spot because of all the tourists parking in the hotel parking lot. Our air conditioner was on max and we never came back to a cold room. It seems like you have control over your room temperature but I think the hotel controls it. The hallway was colder than our room. It always felt stuffy after returning. They have a breakfast buffet in the morning. We always smelled the bacon but never was intrigued to look or try it. I gave this hotel 3 stars because of the location and view. If it didn’t have that it would of been a 1 star. Hopefully they update and renovate this hotel soon. So much potential for this location.

Super great location. Super close to Clifton Hill strip, and across the street from the Falls. Check-in was fast, check-out even faster. The room was big, the bathroom was clean, the towels were super soft, and the beds were fresh and clean. TV, coffee/tea, fridge, iron, hair drier, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, and body lotion are all provided (like a typical hotel) We stayed 2 nights, they did not turn my room even though I had put the sign on my door, so we didn't get fresh towels or had our garbage cleaned out... I also paid for a "city view" room and my window ended up facing the glass/wall to the pool and a sliver to the parking lot. So it kinda felt like I paid too much for a "building view" ..cause I couldn't see the "city" at all. The pool was nice. We went first thing in the morning so the water was still a little cold but as you swim around you could feel warm streams coming into the water so I know it's temperature regulated... it's just that we went as soon as it opened so the water hadn't warmed up yet. They offer breakfast buffet for I think $15 per person from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. however because we went swimming in the morning we didn't make it back on time for the breakfast so I can't comment on the quality of the food. The hotel is a bit dated, and the rooms need updates like new wallpaper or fresh paint and wall art, but honestly, we didn't care. We knew it wasn't at a luxurious Hotel so as long as the room was clean and the beds were clean and the bathroom was clean that's all we care about. Parking is $15/day. Would stay here again.

I will never ever recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. The night duty, elderly receptionist lady has NO respect for the Law of Ontario nor the guests staying at the hotel, especially disabled and handicapped people.

My name is Mohammed, and I am particularly handicapped and have a disability parking permit. On Monday, May 26, 2025, I had booked a night in this hotel. At around 11:30 pm, after having my dinner, I came back to my hotel. Unfortunately, someone had parked on the Handicapped spot in the hotel parking lot, without DISABILITY PERMIT on his car.

I went to the elderly reception lady and told her that one of the guests of the hotel had parked on a disability spot without a disability permit. The receptionist told me to park at another spot, I told her that there was no other spot available at the parking lot, as the entire hotel parking lot was full.

She then told me to park at the neighbors parking lot. I explained her that I had to walk back to the hotel, and I could not walk long distances, as i am disabled. She goes and tells me that I am creating a scene for NO REASON. I told her that She is not following the law, She got so upset on me and told me to park on an illegal parking spot, just at the entrance of the receptionist door, but She refused to call the guest who had parked on a disability spot without a disability permit. I again told her that she was NOT following the law, it is her duty to call the guest and inform him or her to remove his or her car from the disability spot. She totally refused to do so but asked me to either park at the neighbors' parking spot or at the illegal parking spot at the entrance of the receptionist door.

I believe She was giving me a hard time because of my background, as I am a South Indian person. This elderly lady receptionist has NO respect for the law nor her hotel guests. Guys, if you are a handicapped person and have disability parking permit, people do not book this...

I WILL NOT recommend this hotel to anybody due to rude and arrogant customer service. Hotel itself is located in a nice place and the amenities are well and deserves a 4 star.

Front office is occupied with horrible and rude staff, particularly someone name Amy (a white lady may be 35-45 years old blonde). I booked a room with balcony through wyndam website directly (booking Confirmation: 84786ED059735). Once I checked in she gave me a room without balcony. When I went into the room I found out and I came back to ask for a room without balcony. She was very rude, pointed fingers at me and repeatedly told me that I booked via "hot wire" and that my room was not with balcony. Even though the email that I received from wyndham says it is with a balcony. She refused to change the room and told me all of the room with balcony is gone. I did not wanted to argue and said, I know you are doing your job, could you please give me a print out or screen shot that says in your screen that the room I booked is without balcony. She said no, she can not give me that. Then I left and came back to my room. I called the Wyndham Customer Service and talked to them about my reservation. They then in turn talked to the hotel management and provided me with a room with balcony (just like I booked). Then I went downstairs at customer service and got the new key for my new room. The lady was still there and gave me the key. She did not say sorry or apologized for her action. She is the worst person to be in the front desk. I hope the hotel management fires her or send her to customer...
