Turnpike 420 Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

I came to the area starving and wanting to get sushi across the street, the company I was with wanted a beer so we decided to try this place. What a pleasant surprise. It's rather small inside with 3 tables and 6 seats at the bar, but it has a large patio. The food here was excellent, and the ingredients in the tacos I ordered, so fresh! The bartender (Mary Jane) was very nice and helpful despite me torturing her with cocktail requests she was unable to make. I didn't get my most coveted drink of a genuine long island but I was quite satisfied with my gin and tonic, which btw Thurs are $4 rail shots! I get the feeling this isn't a touristy place as the other guests were very welcoming and all knew eachother, and as soon as guests walked in the bartender and cook already knew what they would order. Quite the establishment, across from the sportsbeet with a lot more fun of a vibe! The 420 Turnpike has a great patio very spacious, the loud radio tunes playing over crackly speakers makes me feel at home. The buzz beer is a must of course but its also a little... "underwheleming" i really wanted something to Wow me there. The and awkward little tvs set up in each booth was an odd commodity. Get a bartender girl to check the outside and ran tables or at least someone willing to go out of there qat to serve the customers rather than feel like you've bothered the vibe. The bartender/owner was very friendly and helpful to us as we were tourists. He talked to us for quite a bit, offering good advice on where to go and where to stay away from in the area. Since it was our first time to Canada, it was incredibly helpful as tourists. He had one of the better beers that I have had (my wife and friends loved itl) on tap (Okanagan Pale Ale). The poutine was excellent as well. We spent three nights in Ontario, and drank here every night.
